But it was a great day all round, racing as close and frantic as ever with a few scores settled and a few more started! Massive hit on # 474 Cleggy in the DD saw his car totally destroyed, hopefully he will be OK, but sore, he walked to the Ambulance anyway...

TEAM MEETING
AN INTERESTING DAY
PRINTERS ERROR
Reet then, here we go again, welcome to our Stock Car Club and welcome to a great days entertainment. Last time was the
caravans and, I have to say, it was the best caravan race I have seen for ages. # 514 Woodsy had fun smashing up caravans
then hitching a lift on the rear of another one. We had a crush, but everyone got going again, also caravans surviving
for quite a while, sort of, intact. Yes it was a great race and the crowd loved it too. So well done chaps and I canna
wait for 2008.
The Ministox were again on top form, with as close a racing as you could ever want. Heat one and some great racing
between # 93 Sammi Twist and # 140 Smiler Taylor, with Twist getting on two wheels sneaking round my corner. There
was a pile up in my corner too, but all continued, the win was taken by than boy Twist. # 107 Jack Barton was pushed
off, after an accident, by # 197, he was then pushed off after an accident too! # 492 Big Bad Dan Hurst was Blacked
flagged after sideswiping another car.. # 140 Smiler Taylor won.. and smiled!! Heat three was a bad un, with # 21
Steve Crane hitting the outerwall badly, after contact by another car, he had to be cut out and flown to hospital,
but, thankfully, he was ok though battered and bruised. More battering and bruising in this race, this time for Sam
Makim, # 245, he was knocked into Malcolm's Gate and had a knock on his knee, which swelled like a balloon (he had
insisted on showing it to squeamish me at the end of the day- Thanks 4 that). # 93 Twist took the win. # 94 Joe
Coreless and # 415 Sean Haggas both out early in the otherwise incident free final, though it was good to see how
clean the racing can be, and how close too, # 140 Sam Taylor won, just from a disgruntled Twist! Harr harr got beaten
by a gurl.. Grand National time and # 419 Leanne tried to go through the wall at my corner, she was OK, though the car
was not. Twist was the victor.
Stock Cars, the third time these have featured in this programme, with the chairman now doing reports, Lordy rambling
and me.. Oh well here goes. Heat one was full of incidents.. Two smashes in the pit bend, the latter forcing waved
yellows, # 330 Mick Greenwood had a big engine blow, and others failed to finish including former Ministox drivers #
101 Jim Hayhurst and # 928 Doddyman. # 808 Wayne Clarke started the day as it carried on with a win (he also took heat
three and the Final). Heat two, and # 106 Ian Barton took to the air, over the top of # 512 Derek Crane. # 69 Gary Love
took the flag. Heat three was quieter after # 411 David Corless span out. The Final and a big smash for # 228 Tom Stable
and another for # 411 Corless, though not at the same time. Then it was an hard race with pushes and whacks a plenty.
The Grand National was grand, with # 230 Ian Mather and # 112 Charlie Shaw getting in a muddle. Mather actually
clambering over Shaw. # 234 Jason Lord was the victor in this race. I bet Glen has mentioned that :)
Ryan Robinson my well not be as big a fan as everyone else of # 53 Gayboy, after Gayboy clobbered Ryans parked up car
in heat one of the Super Bangers. Both cars were in a badway. # 244 MadMartinMakim took the win. It went mad in heat
two as Gayboy returned with a repaired car, the crowd cheering and hollerin as he made his way to start!! # 6 had a
big off and was out in the race and lo and behold, Gayboy won.. It was like an FA Cup final, the crowd going mad Gayboy
lapping it up, I'm sure I saw his head swell, it was mad! # 76 Stavros and # 100 Dianne Sugden, had a tangle in the
final, but both carried on racing, Gayboy came second to # 24 MMM, they both went on the pace car and the crowd where
shouting Gayboy.. The world had gone mad! The Grand National was a tamer affair.
Talking of tame, we had bangers on too, though confusion reigned all day and there wasn't any major action in the other
races, the caravan race more than made up for it.
The Modstox are back again today with no doubt many cars, due to it being their Gold Roof meeting. So welcome gain and
hope you enjoy todays racing.
The NEXT meeting is the Club Championship, a meeting where drivers HAVE to be members, but spectators do not. Anyone
can come to watch and see these drivers battle for the Silver roof and loads more important trophies. There is a lap
of honour at the beginning, where all the drivers get driven round sat on their cars so you can get to see what
wonderful faces hide behind the helmets.
