What a surprisingly great day. I was in a not bothered mood, expecting rubbish weather and a quiet days racing, how wrong
was I ??? The weather started badly, but soon was great, the racing was spectacular with rolls, a fire, spins, great passing
and plenty of wrecks. Sadly I had to marshall as well as take photos, and now videos too, so a busy day for lil ole me.
The 240plus photos will be up shortly, if photos are above this then they are up in albums, or going up.
Tried more with videos today too, though they may take a day or two to go up, though the promised exclusive footage of the
V8 Scooter race will go up tonight, I hope!.
Oh and a big well done to # 555 Peter Wells who raised, I think, over £300 for a cancer charity. A big congrats too to
the winners of the Scooby ride.

I missed Sundays racing, I hope verything went well.
I sent a report in, but my e-mail arrived too late. So here it is.
Hi thanks for reading SnOrKs ThOrTs, I'm not here right now, I'm currently at the Download Festival at Donnington
Park, bands like Iron Maiden (tonight) and Linkin Park (last night) plus loads more, in a tent in a field with my
daughter and thousands of heavy metal freaks… HELP! Anyway leave a message after the tone and I may get back to you
Oh before I forget, it was WARton of the Roses last time out, I must tell you about that. Time is limited… The teams
were more even this year, and it was nip & tuck all day, but Lancs. just pipped it at the end of the last DD.
Well done folks.
We also had Super Bangers and Stock Cars too, plenty of action and wrecks in the latter, with Singy's Oil Tanker
sized beast in the former.
Anyway enjoy today and I will return at the next meeting, The Bay Classic, oh The Bay are sponsoring that, I wonder
if Darren will have another go in the Stock Cars, or better still the bangers.. Oh well only time will BEEEEEEEP.

6th June 2007 LETS RACE THIS SUNDAY
Yup another big weekend is a comin, Sunday sees the Mostox return to Warton, and Ministox, Super Bangers, Stock Cars and
2 LTR Bangers. The weather could be nice too.. lets hope hey?
Due to a berevement I missed my first committee meeting in ages.. I have been asked though that and kids who have
cars and want to race at the Metro Meeting (8th July) need to book in ASAP with Angela on 015395 67706. This is due
to the dissapointing numbers of Jnr Bangers at WARton of the Roses. Note if enough cars book in then the Jnr Bangers will
race, if not its going to be a Ministox meeting. Ta
31st May 2007 THE BAY RADIO
The Bay radio were at Warton on Sunday, Darren Milby (their Breakfast presenter) had a go in Saints Stock Car in
heat one. Darren had a great time and went very fast (like I'm going to say owt different). I have gotten them to post the photos on
their site so have a gander by clicking here. Also listen live online
as they are a decent station and play some good musik.
27th May 2007 A BIG THANK YOU
What can I say, a great days racing, plenty of bangers (around 45 in total) and some big hits. The biggest thanks I can
giive is to the Banger drivers who turned up, and the spectators who ignored the rubbish weather report, the weather
was really quite dry.
Also well done to the Super Banger and Stock Car drivers who put on quite a show.
Photos will be going up tonight and the vids, maybe later in the week.
22nd May 2007 WotR THIS SUNDAY
Only a few days now to WARton of the ROSES, this Sunday noon. Plenty of cars are booked in already, only a few spaces left, so
if you want to race a banger this Sunday book in now!
I have made some more Photo CDs only a quid each and contain all the photos from last meeting. They also include the three videos too,
though they need a PC to work. They will be 4sale at the Track Shop on Sunday. I will also be bringing some games too, if you want
any particular game, then check out www.snorksstore.com and e-mail the game you want. There will also be more laminated prints
too. As well as sweets and drinks :)
17th May 2007 TRACK DAY THIS SUNDAY
Hi its me, just to let you all know that there is a track day THIS Sunday, from 10AM onwards, main reason is to sort out
the PA system, but theres plenty of other stuff to do too.
The drivers list for WOR is changing almost daily and we now have loads of Unlimiteds too.. So thanks again.
I have added a 'video' page, link above. Theres been no comments from anyone, good or bad, so what do you think ??
Its seems that theres been a sense of humor removal from certain members, which as started a lets have a go at SnOrK
in the forum, oh well so be it, note Mr Stig, your entry didnt go up cause you used a nickname I don't know, try again
with your real name/number and I will post it. Hey ho least while I'm getting slagged off its saving someone else from it.
By the way the 'Be happy for once' was meant to be ironic, but I guess you didnt get it.
10th May 2007 WARton of the ROSES Update
Its go go go for Warton of the Roses, a big thanks to all the drivers who have put their names forward so far. In order
to even the teams out, the Lancs Unlimited & 2 LTRS are now FULL. That leaves just six spaces left for the Yorks team, 4 2LTR and 2
Unlimited, first to contact me will get the spaces. Note there is no need to live in Yorkshire in order to race for that
team, if theres, more interest for Unlimiteds I might be able to up the teams, as long as they remain about even in
numbers.
MINISTOX drivers, you ARE NOT racing at WARton of the Roses, one of the main reasons I came up with this meeting was
to get another race for the popular Junior Bangers. Therefore I am saddened that this class has had the least response, its
nudge & spin and you need 1400cc cars made to Warton banger specs. So come on you lot, lets get the Junior Banger numbers
up ... ta.
Super Bangers and Stock Cars, you are having two heats (maybe three for Stocks if needed), a final all for points.
There will be NO GRAND NATIONAL ..... Instead we ar holding a DASH 4 CASH, using the idea in Guestbook, I thought it
would make the day a little different for you guys too. The prize is £50 for each class.

Well well well, how are all we then ? I'm Ok ta, thanks for askin.
Im still in shock after the action from the last meeting, Im also getting excited about the next... WARton OF THE ROSES,
the boooking list is filling up, and the names are getting bigger, Dan Steele is up for an Unlimitd drive, we need more
driver to even out the Yorkshire team. So get in contact ASAP.

6th May 2007 What a May day ....
Well then, that was ruddy fun, some of the best action I have seen at Warton with the bangers. Have a good luck in the
photo albums, theres some great photos, try looking at 1472 to 1478 and please give them all 5 star rating.. ta. A report will be up soon.
I will try and figure out how to get the movie version of the bangers heat two. It all seemed very amicable, including Dan who
returned a follow in on a bad newz lad and the DD action, along with the heat two stuff to.
A big well done to Sammi Twist and Jordan Rainford who made Warton history, by having a dead heat in the Ministox Final after
a great CLEAN scrap all the race. This meant they both started a lap down in the Grand National, another Warton first!!

Its important that all drivers interested in racing at WARton of the Roses '07 book in now. Its free to race, no booking in
fees, and you get money for attending, win or loose. Oh and a medal... and the honor of racing for a Rose, how sweet.
