Brand new PC has been delivered and installed, though I still cant sort out JAVA stuff yet.. I hope to have first load of
photos up from the meeting last Sunday very soon, maybe even later tonight!!
Right I now have an almost fully working PC, thanks to my mate King Dragon of Wales!! A title he
won in go-karting!! Bad news is I cant use JAVA programmes yet, so unable to TIDY up the mess
left in the guestbook.. Im hoping to have the photos back up and running soon too...
I also have the FIRST team list for the 10 on 10, thanks to DONKEY of TNT.. Its going up soon.
No drivers list yet for either TNT or Bad Newz for this Sundays meeting,
rumors abound about guest drivers and tin.. but nothing confirmed as yet.
The poll is the biggest so far on this site and it seems a 50-50 split as
to who you think is going to win...
Also I still do not have a fully working PC as yet, that said, its ok for
me to allow entries in the guestbook, but Im unable to delete them as I need
to be able to use the propper software, which this PC can't do yet..
So after a huge crash on my PC, caused by a mother board breaking, Im back.
Sadly I'm using a really old PC, supplied by Debs n Andy, and I have
had to have both machines switched on with my hard drives sat on top of
the other PC, it looks odd, I will post a photo when i GET my brand NEW
pc. Till then bear with me.... It shouldn't be too long btw.
I cannot send e-mails, though I can recieve them.. Im working on it so again
bear with me....
Talking of recieved e-mails...
hi there snork great website keeps getting better, well heard a rumor that
warton is going to race hotrods will it be the same as barra any front wheel
drive 1600cc or under as if it is we will be racing there next year hope to
here from you soon barrow driver
Another e-mail says..
Hi- was looking thru your site and noticed there is a driver named Alan Roskill....
any idea how to track him down?
All the action photos are back now, around 100 of them.. OK so maybe not all action, they also
feature the Red Arrows. Im amazed that they came out at all, due to my camera getting waterlogged
and me not being able to see to focus.. Some are very very badly out of focus mind ..
Look on the brightside.. The photos (140) are going up.. and we can get ready for the 10 on 10 meeting
in two weeks.
I just got my copy of BURNOUT3 (from GAME) on the XBOX.. and I'm going to have a drunken night
playing it Hee hee.... BEST GAME EVER... ?? I don't know yet... Review coming very soon..
This weekend sees the Silver roofs up for grabs... Who will be the Kelly Holmes of Warton this
Sunday, and who will be the Paula Radcliffe ?? Feel free to discuss in the Forum..
Also the Grudge race page has been updated, though I'm still waiting for the drivers lists..
The wedding of that second at that place took place on Saturday, I was not there, but my photo
camera mate was... Here are the EXCLUSIVE photos..Have a gander here!!!
I may be able to get hold or real propper PS2,XBOX and Gamecube games cheap, if anyone is intrested
in buying them. If you are, email me. First game would be BURNOUT3 at £35 on PS2 and XBOX.
THESE ARE NOT CRAPPY PIRATED GAMES!! Its an old contact from my days as a Game manager (the shop
not on the..)
Its all go in September at Warton Stock Car Club. Two awesome meetings not to miss..
Oh and Chris, from Official Site has his photos up from Sunday Click here to see em
Yup 231 photos up now from yesterdays great meeting. Im glad the weather held off, though it being
a bit warmer would have been nice. Still another 50 to go, making 281 in total.
What a really good day today was.. The caravans were excellent and the banger mechanics and DD
were awesome, big heavy hitting. The racing in the Supers was chaotic, best wishes to Andy Molloy
and daddy Molloy who are moving to Spain next month, their cars are for sale.. I wonder if I
get to blag free holidays now ? The Stock Cars had some very close racing, as did the Ministox
who also had a few accidents, but nothing too serious. Carl Swarbrick, commentator and general
know all, raced in the cravans, and stuck his arm thru his steering as he ploughed into a
big crash, tearing his tendons in the arm... Now if he had been comintating today, he would have
had summot to say if it happened to anyone else... Mind you I'm saying nowt.. lol GET WELL
SOON MATE!
There is a 12 foot caravan at Kendel Scrap Metals.. Tel: Shane 07721511259.. Its only 20 quid,
so get rininging him.. It is complete btw.
Tim and Alex have some great photos from the HESP Memorial, Click
here to see them. It was good of them to trek all the way up to see us two weeks back.. I
trust they had a good day. I know I did ....
All updated and back to order, Val has been moving house and not had a phone line connected
so thats why we are running late.
Its a game, I didnt get drunk or owt. To find out wheather I like it better than Driver 3, which
was cak, then go look at the reviews XBOX... MASHED.... LATER TONIGHT!
Track news and as the caravan meeting gets closer, we ponder on how many caravans are booked in,
you need to book your van in if you want to race, so contact Val E-mail Val
. last count was 11 booked in and that means only space for 9 more caravans. Less than 14foot
in length. So book in quick, or miss out.....
I got an e-mail the other day from Michael Coventry, from WASTED, asking for copies off ALL my
photos from the Hesp Memorial. I have sent them off today and hope that this helps make the
HESP Memorial a nationally reconised event, as well as raising the profile of Warton Stock
Car Club to a national level. Its all part of the service..
Our glorious leader Norman has given me a bell to announce that on 26th September, for 1 race only
anything goes, except drivers doors or renforcing of cars in a TEN on TEN between Bad Newz and
TNT. The winner will be the last car moving, IE a Demo Derby.
This season just seems to get better and better!!!!
Also almost all 380+ photos online now. They should ALL be up before midnight. I got my DVD off EPVideos today too, I have only had a quick look, but its a gud un, order yours now!
On a sad note, Malcolms death was by natural causes, the funeral will be at Warton Church
on Friday at noon. Flowers are welcome, but I trust as many of us as is possable will attend.
I trust everyone has recovered from the excitment of yesterday.... Well the photos are back and
they are going up tonight, and tomorrow night, well there is a hell of a lot of them.
Chatroom seems to be working again. I think there was some work being carried out on it at their
end...
That was an absolutly awesoms day at Warton, Getting on for 50 bangers, ten of which were
classic cars, rolls in almost every class, and hard hits in the bangers. Surprise class banger
drivers and loads of fun. It was an adpt way to celebrate the memory of Gary Hesp. It
was touching too with a minutes silence in memory of Malcolm, who would have love todays action.
Prize money.. An easy guide.:
Eddies £50 has been reallocated to the winner of the Banger Final... Which is cool!
Another new section, no nice button yet, though there will be soon, so
I have also been informed that Tipperary have moved the date of their meeting to the 26th and that THEY WILL FUND Warton banger driver to go over for a long weekend!
Oh and I forgot to mention that I updated the 2005 fixtures earlier in the week!
I recieved this e-mail today:
The day, yesterday was a day of firsts... :
I wish James Taylor all the best after his smash in the Ministox final. It seems he had hurt his
back, so everycare was taken to extract him from his car as carefully as possible. So after
the roof and roolcage were removed, he was whisked away in the Air Ambulance.. I just hope
that it was all a fuss over nothing and he will be as right as rain ASAP. That said, it is always
important to be over zellous when regarding back injuries.
I got this e-mail tonight and its good news!!!!
UPDATE on JAMES Just a quick note to let you know that James has been released from
hospital with a badly bruised back and a sore neck but thankfully nothing broken. Please
could you thank all concerned at Warton that helped with his rescue and he will be back
soon.(which is more than I can say for his car!!!)
With all the HESP hype, we must not forget that we have a meeting this weekend. The F2s are
coming to play again, and the Jnrs are back in their Ministox and the Super & Stocks are hoping
to have a quieter time. The Bangers are 2LTR this time, and rumor has it that # 514 Paul Woods
is racing a Capri, first time in ages.
Warton is on Live tv from lord knows when. Before in inner kerb & featuring The Bears in a
Northwest team Championship. LiveTV SKY channel 214 at 10AM today & 3PM
I also have Hot Gossip (no not the 80's disco dancers who lost their heart to a Starship Trooper
) but this
'rumor has it that on the first meeting in August (2ltrs) there will be 20+ banger
drivers coming to race including deadly daz owen and the davis brothers. they are coming
to race as it is stu kearsleys birthday'
More news added to Hesp meeting page regarding the Banger DD!!!
Its taken me almost 24hours to get my PC working again after it went on strike. Therefore by default
I'm running behind now... So last 24 photos to go up and report to be written.
Along with all the photos that I am putting up from Sunday, and the reports, I have added a new
page for the HESP MEMORIAL meeting, its the one after the next, but seems to be generating
a great deal of interest already... So to find out more.. Click on the Hesp button
I got this e-mail from Jills mum last night, though my e-mails werent working well, so I
only received it this morning.:
I hope its not too serious and that Jill can race her ministox next meeting as planned!
I will be getting back the action photos later today and will be posting them in the Photo
Album around tea time onwards. I noticed that there seems a great deal more Club members in the
back of the program so I will update the members list again later this week (despite me usually
only updating it once every two meetings!). The plan is for the report to be up soon too...
No rest for the wkd (drinker)... ERM Silver WKD or Smirnoff Black Ice (hint hint)
Jill Update Latest Good news is that Jill is back from the hospital and she has just
bruised her shoulder. The bad news, for Jill, is that she can go back to school on Wednesday..
Also I have got the action photos back... and am going to start putting them in the album soon
Best wishes to Jill Hayhurst who hurt her sholder in the junior bangers... Other that that it was
a great day... Hits galore in the Junior Bangers and awesome wrecking from the Metros.. A roll
each for the Super Bangers and Stock Cars. In fact so much happened I aint got time to write it
here, so Im going to post the digital photos and start the report.
Chris and JAS have resigned from running the Official website, due to other intrests taking over
the time they need to keep the site up to date and time at the track. The lads have had the
site up and running for around eight years, and its a shame to see them leave. Despite the
public spats we had, we were really good mates, and often shared e-mails and gossip along the way.
I have offered my site to the committee to become the Official site, and like
Chris and JAS, not take any funding from it.. I have be refused though so this site will stay
as it is. I have no plans to quit, as I enjoy running the site, and it seems to get great deals
of hits and support from the drivers. I wish JAS & Chris all the best for the future, and they
have said that they will still come to Warton, when time permits, and that includes this Sunday.
Indeed the lil bangers are set to return this Sunday at Warton. I'm a big fan of the Metros cause they
do have a habit of rolling, bending funny and loosing sub frames and axels. They bend well too.
The kids are in Jnr bangers too and a little spy has told me that Bad Newz danger boy, Lewis is
racing. I think we will also see the two girls from Buxton, Nicole & Danielle, are hoping to
be back. Ste Doddyman Dodds has built a car, with 'an awesome paintjob'... Least that's wot I have
been told...
It seems that the Hitman Ham site mention the other day, has NOTHING to do with Hitman Hambilton,
but a college mate who did it as a project and a wee wee take, still it made me laff. The site,
sadly, has been removed now...
You got to be confident, and not shy, to do well at racing, but some folks take it to an awesome
new level... Behold >>>> CLICK HERE
That said he's a great lad, as he supports my site :) Though no mention of Lee Wrennall... Yer gonna laff!
Its July already and time for the Fun Meetings, the first being Metros on 11th July, But wait on
4th July this site is a whole THREE years old.... and they said it wouldnt last :) Well some
hoped it wouldn't.
