Practice day Sunday at 10AM
I get asked why we have a practice day. Well if your a new driver, its best to try out the
track when no one is racing for the championship, a few laps on Sunday could help avoid
a silly mistake on race day. Also if you have a new car/engine or are in a new class than normal
it is worth going to parctice, I mean where else can you test your car/engine at race speed,
I dont think ASDA let you practice in their car park no more :) So if your a new driver or
wanna test out your new engine/car then £20 is a breeze, so get yer cars to Warton this Sunday
and get practicing...
A timely reminder, peter 668 Super Banger driver, has reminded me that if your going North on M6
then you MUST keep in the inside lane when you reach the roadworks just after j34, if you
get in the outside lane it takes you past j35 so you have to go upto j36 & come back down
a waste of fuel, time, and stress. And less practice time too. This ends SnOrKs RoAdWaTcH.

Retirement of Roadreaper
I have it confirmed, directly from Andy himself, that # 666 Andy 'roadreaper' Pennington has
retired from Banger racing. He has been racing for many a year, starting at Crewe and Stoke, but feels
the time is right to hang up his helmet for the last time. The reason are family and work commitments
with added politics from various race tracks. The first time I saw Andy, in the flesh,
was at the caravan meeting in 1999, his car was upside down in a pile of wood and fibre glass
along with a big Yank and Paul Woods of the Invaders. Since then we have become good mates, and
rowed like gud uns too, it will be a loss to the banger world, but a bonus to other drivers as
Andy is SELLING HIS ENTIRE STOCK OF GRANADAS and frames, steam tank and other bits. Ring him
on 07930229695. The irony of this is I have recenty posted Andys massive Metro roll photo from
the 2000 season, in photo album section under Archive 2000 Warton albums, about half way down the
list of albums.. yer gotta laff!

called Meisseli Racing, where the race on snow and ice. Though they do have indoor demo derbies
too. Shame, after the main page, its all in Finnish, but it makes looking round more fun :)

Bears enjoyed playing at Warton
The report been up a while now, sorry I forgot to mention it before!
The Bears, on their website, have said the nine and an half trip to Warton was 'worth it'
also adding that they WILL return.... One day. Lets hope its soon, the Team Meeting would
be fun. Everyone I have spoken too, or read what they have written, has nothing but praise
for these Brighton lads. They gave massive hits, they recieved big hits, they kept their
dummies in their mouth, thats how it should be. They took away loadsa trophies too....

MM3 went with a bang!
So that was fun! More hits than the hit parade, more wrecks than on the bottom of the sea, and
everybody seemed to enjoy it! A propper report up in a while and shedload of digital pictures
going up in the next few minutes! (251) ... harr harr. Its all going on..
Well done to Dan Steele for taking the Final, and all the drivers for putting on a great show!

One day to go!
Yup its almost time for Metal Mainia III. Tomorrow at Noon sees Wartons biggest meeting for a few
years, with well over 70 bangers booked in, from old favourites like Granadas to rare tin
like 4 a four door hearse and yank tanks. If is destruction and mayhem you like, the get to
Warton well before noon. Don't look like is gonna rain, though I suggest you take plenty of
warm clothes, just in case its really cold. Will the battle that ran from the back end of last
season between the Steeles and Bad Newz, be the highlight, or will it be the visiting Bears,
Hitmen, Levellers, Bong Gang or Noony who we are all talking about on the way home. Only
one way to find out, go yourself and smell, listen too and taste the action up close and
personal. Also dont forget the Stock Cars, plenty of action to be had there too, new cars that drivers
don't know that well, oily track from bangers, its looking like its going to be action all
the way... See ya there.

Dispite Singy having to pull out, as reported yesterday, there are now well over 70 cars booked

Nothing new in MM3 land :( I still hope Krazy Krew and The Mob book in and race!
Also just a note to let you know that the slope on straights, has been extended round the corners
and along infield enty and exits, so hopefully the cars will last longer now .. lol
Oh and Im having a blonde week, ran a magnet over my monitor to show my daughter why she should'nt
, now its knakered. Aslo wandering round Asda heard a bird tweeting and kept looking in roof
space for it, til I realised it was an advert..

Metal Mainia 3 BEARS CONFIRMED!
The Bears are comming... Seven confirmed .. Also Levellers and loads more. List will
be updated very soon, but now WELL OVER 60 are booked in! Sadly no Mob yet, who are
popular visitors to the MM meetings and if they come we will get the Krazy Krew too, they hate
the Mob.. Its all getting very exciting..
Also there has been a entry in Ovalchats forum stating that The Invaders will NEVER race at Belle
Vue again, tho no reason given. Having spoken to a shocked Paul Woods, I can confirm that
they have no major issues with Belle Vue and may well race there sometime this year.

Metal Mainia 3 gets bigger
Yet more added to list, though still no confirmation of numbers and name of The Bears attending.
So without doubt, there will be over 50 bangers booked in, and I bet a few more will
turn up on the day. Don't forget, if you want to book in for free, and avoid the tenner fee,
then book in before end of Feb... via mm3 page.
Note from Chairman, (our new leader). To thank everybody who turned up, around 40, and helped
at track today, we made alot of progress.
NEXT Sat at 10:30AM we are cementing corners of the track.
Sunday at 10AM we are doing more at the trcak, painting at the like. If you would like to

Chatroom
Due to all the problems we have been having with a few trouble causers, the Chatroom
has been upgraded, I pay monthly for this one, and heres why...
1: It has TWO password protection.
2: I get a transcript off all the chats daily, so I can see who, if anyone is causing trouble.
3: You register YOUR OWN nickname and no-one else can use it.(So no more idiots pretending to
be Dan Steele or me causing trouble).
There are other features, but it all depends on the passwords remaining secret... So its up
to you .

Its not that far away, yes I know Metal Mainia III is first (7th March), but the Team Meeting
is less than four months away, 30th May. Its always important too book teams in early, to create
intrest and more teams too book in, that said, I need a team to support the site. Team Wartononline.com
has had a few drivers, and I thank you all, but I'm looking early this year to get
maybe a few teams up n running for this years Team meeting. More details via the link above.

No further updates on MM3 page, but its looking very good already.

Rules updated and DANNY POTTS (again)
The rules are now FULLY updated to the 2004 book. They include details for any
rule changes that allow the Unlimited Minis to race with the Super Bangers.
After last nights farce in chatroom/guestbook I am seriously considering shutting
the site down, as I have no room in my life for trouble causers (STALKER and CHRASHCHRIS)
causing bad feeling with other websites and encouraging other chat room users to storm
my chatroom then moan like babies when they get booted out of chatroom. Its a shame that a few
KNOWN trouble causers can disrupt an otherwise peaceful chatroom and cause ill feeling
where non e is needed or required. Check out forum and feel free to respond there. Note
ALL ENTRIES THAT INCLUDE SWEARING WILL, rightly be deleted and the writers banned from
making further entries in forum. I have now had to re set the guestbook to let me authorise
ALL entries after last nites antics, and I have to say I am surprised at the attitude of some
, who I thought were, decent grown men/banger drivers comments,. which I had to delete cause
of bad language..
NOTE: I will continue to boot out ALL trouble causers that use the chatroom, and apologise
to those who have, and will be, innocently caught up in this ongoing problem.
Another intresting point, ALL THIS NEW TROUBLE OCCURED THE NIGHT AFTER THE REGISRATION NITE, where
the subject of Dannys actions were disscussed with his parents and chairman, could this be
his way of revenge? If so its shows just how sad the child is.

the 15th Feb at 10 AM. There will be food and drink supplied and other jobs also need to be done.
So show your support for the NEW committee and get up there and help them get the site cleaned

Ch-ch-ch changes
The chairman is now Norman Fryer and Gerald Hogarth is vice chairman. Also Also important
note unlimited minis are definately not racing in 2004 in their own class. If they want
to race they have to race with the supers with the modifications agreed at the
AGM. Angela Fryer has apparently contacted all the drivers.
I have started adding an xbox section to the reviews bit. There are three to get started with, and
they are all good. I aint forgetting the PS2, I have games to add there soon.

Unlimited Minis......
Right then, this is what I THINK has happened to Unlimited Minis.. After much voting and rowing
it was decided that they will only race with the Super Bangers... However the Super Banger drivers
said that the minis should be modified, as in loose the rear and front bullbars and adjust the
side bar heights, plus loads more alterations, to be confirmed and posted in NEW rule book.
I forgot to mention that Mick was presented with a lifetime membership to Warton Stock Car Club
for services to the club over the last few decades.

with his noggin, but may have a broken foot, have to wait for swelling to go down, then it will
be X-rayed.. Also best wishes to # 184, who's car was hit while he was getting out of it.. His
hand was badly cut. And to the driver hurt in the Tank DD... It was a bad day for injuries.

This coming Sunday sees the fifth Civil War, and hopefully a fifth victory to the Narky Northern
Army over the Southern Softies! It all kicks off at 1PM and will go til late, but I suggest you
get there before noon to get a good place to watch from. Also CHEER on our Northern Army and BOO
the Southern one, Not that you need telling that I know! Its Important that the North win again,
because if they don't, we will have to trapse down to Arena essex next year!
I also have an XBox now, and will add some game reviews soon.
The menu (right) has given rise to two complaints, as in folks can't read em.. So if I get anymore
I will remove the mist thing from the writing.
Oh... Did I mention that the Civil War 5 is this Sunday? ... Thought I had :)

OK so back to normal. Report up now, I been drinking loads, no time to write it before now! Also
the SnOrK AwArDs 2003 are filling up, though no pictures as yet, I will get em sorted soon!
