DATELINE: 26th September 2003
Points up
oh dear The points and officail results are up now...
I have had a bizarre week, my boiler at home stopped working & blows the plugs upstairs. Then I get a director of my company out to visit me and travel round in my car, wot happens? the blinking drivers window drops down inside the door and we freeze all day! It could only happen to me.

DATELINE: 22nd September 2003
Loads of stuff.
Buxton Dom gets airbourne The report is up (excluding the bangers) and first load of action photos are being added to the already up digital ones. Plenty more of photos are due to go up later tonight and tomorrow as well.

DATELINE: 21st September 2003
Another good day.
Well done mate! What a great day, the underdogs did well in all classes, and I have to say that the weather held up well too. Loads of digital pics and the report up later .. I need my tea now.

DATELINE: 17th September 2003
COP WATCH III
Ello ello ello Just a quick reminder to check your trailer lights and tyres etc are OK. Its the time of year that the nights draw in. So it may be dark by the time you get home.. So think on.
Also I had an e-mail off Val with news that # 157 Barry Greenhalgh was disqualified from the Championship banger race. So results & points have been updated, but it only affects the bangers...

DATELINE: 15th September 2003
Jnr Bangers Sunday
Jnrs ready for action Its almost time for the junior bangers to return to Warton. I know that # 3 The Saint won't be there as he & his bro are playing rugby, well a bit more than that its a big final or summot. I am not sure about the Invader kids either, as the Invaders are looking for a new yard. Its certain though that # 343 Smiler will race and maybe a few day racers, # 101 Jimbob and his sister and loads more. Also its an unders meeting for the grown ups, which means small banger action all round, and hopefully some rare tin to boot...
I know of a FREE Metro, you MUST collect, from a garage in Newton-le-Willows, though it will drive onto a trailor, last owner was a vicar! So if yer interested e-mail me , like you did for the Capri, I think its still there to pick up, but don't quote me on that.

DATELINE: 11th September 2003
Report up
A Ste Smith Pear shaped moment The report is up and ready to upset you all.. I dont take prisoners, note I am joking..
Also if your intrested in a FREE Capri, then e-mail me. Its an old N reg and huge, it seems big to be a Capri.. Its in Widnes, at a garage I visited this week, you must be able to pic it up to load it as it has no rear wheels on it. So e-mail me and I will give you the guys phone number.

DATELINE: 9th September 2003
Points up
Oooops Latest points up right now! (Thanks Val) Its a dun deal in the Ministox & Super Bangers, but its close, very close in other classes!
Got an e-mail from Angela Fryer today, Unlimited Mini 308 that crashed on Sunday. She is generally OK and though hobbling around with a bruised foot, that got stuck under brake peddal, will be back racing next meeting, assuming the mechanic extrodinarie welds the car back together.

DATELINE: 8th September 2003
Yip Yap Crash
OK at last its up The two pics I got of the Yip Yap crash are up NOW. His mate, Mick Lee, said that Yip was OK with me posting them. They are in the middle of the album from 24th August, the day of the crash and will remain comment free. The power of the hit is incredable.. Nuff Said & thanks to Mr Yap letting me show you them.

DATELINE: 7th September 2003
Long day.Loads of action
Lift yer left wheel up I spoke to Yip Yap before the racing today and he said he was doing OK and hobbling around on crutches with team color cast up to his crotch & metal pins galore, If that's fine I hate to think what he's like when he is unwell! That said he asked me to pass on his thanks and gratitude to the St Johns Ambulance and the Crash Team, for getting him out of the wreck last meeting. He added that the person who calmed him and kept talking to him throughout, was Tony, the marshal who I stand with every meeting. So its good to know that the guys who get injured appreciate the work done by the Crash Team & St Johns..
Also, there was a number of times I had to marshal, and keep drivers calm after a crash, the most noticeable being Angela Fryer, who was shook up and a little battered after hitting the inner wall, I hope you get well soon deary. Also #347 who was out cold after colliding with another stopped Stock car. The hit of the day was on BONES, whose car that had raced THREE meetings, was destroyed after I had written, in biro, wartononline.com on it, that said some might say that the hit on Scouse Kev was the hit of the day, photos up now, so you decide. The full story's will be in the report.
Indeed it was a busy day, and though it seemed to drag a bit, the weather held off and it was a good day.

DATELINE: 3rd September 2003
Big Weekend
MAke your PC look all purtty Tis a big weekend for most of our drivers, they want a silver roof, and they can earn one at this meeting. To be fair most of the championships seem to be near enough sorted, so its now or never for glory for most.
Also I am going to do NEW wallpaper tonight. If the pic is there (left) then the paper is up

DATELINE: 1st September 2003
Small change
mmmmm nice As its the first of the month I have decided to change the menu, right, round a bit. I was getting e-mails from folks who could not find the pictures or any other menu item. Therefore as from NOW the chatroom, Guestbook and Forum are at the bottom of the menu, and the menu is now at the top of the menu, if you get my drift! Thats it really, other than the wallpaper wiil be redone either tonight or tomorrow.

DATELINE: 31th August 2003
Wedding pics up
Exclusive pics The wedding album in style of Hello is up. Though I have never read hello I think I can guess what its about. Click here to go the the world exclusive photos of this special day for our celeb couple.

DATELINE: 29th August 2003
Photos up
Up & away The photos are up, excluding the accident of Yip Yap, I'm not sure if that is a suitable pic to post on here. That said I got another email from Yip Yaps mate.. Here it is.
'just a note to say that dave is now out of hospital, his op went well,he has got 4 screws holding his leg on the ligament damage was not as bad as the docs first thought.he says he will see everyone at the championship meeting.he would also like to thank the crash team especially tony and the st. johns ambulance team.
mick lee (driver 286)
p.s does anyone know 'bones' phone number.
p.p.s if anyone would like to send their get well messages to dave my email address is trickymickylee@tiscali.co.uk. '

I am working on the ERNIE wedding page, buts its taking longer than I thought.

DATELINE: 27th August 2003
Points & results
Picture coming soon The results & point are all online now. The action picsa re back & looking good. Will start posting them later tonight.. Oh and Yip Yap is in the same bed vacated by a certain Mr John Ball a few weeks back. Not heard how the op yesterday went.

DATELINE: 26th August 2003
Report up
Oh dear Yup the report is writ and up to be slagged off by you lot! The results are to pot, so I'm waiting for the offical results, as soon as I get them they will be under the report. Not really much else to say really, other than the 100 plus action pics will be up tomorrow onwards.
The Championship Meeting is on on the 7th Sept, so make a point of being there, ALL the drivers want the trophys and more that get given out at this meeting. And amazingly there is only five meetings left this season, and that includes the Christmas one! Where as this year gone?

DATELINE: 25th August 2003
Yip Yap update
more cleaners... Got an e-mail from Mick Lee driver 286 regarding Yip Yap. Here it is 'just to let you know he has dislocated and broken his knee there is also some ligament damage, he is going up to theatre this afternoon for an poi will let you know how he is later this week. I would also like to thank all the crash team and st. johns ambulance for their hard work.
Mick Lee driver 286.'
Again I wish Yip Yap all the best for a speedy recovery. I would also like to take time out to thank the St John and our crash team, who both handled the situation extremely professionally and in good humour. Sometimes we take them for granted, but at the time of crisis you can rely on them.
The action photos will be up on Wednesday and I'm sorting the free pics for the guys who let me deface their caravans, and my hands. I trust there will be another caravan race next year, least I hope so. Next meeting is the CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING, for more details on this meeting contact Mick O'Brien, in the contacts section. Its a meeting our members all want to win.

DATELINE: 24th August 2003
Yip Yap news
The clean up after the caravans ... #61 David Gawn, nickname Yip Yap, was taken to hospital after the dreadful crash in the banger mechanics race. Dave's Sierra was snapped in many places & bent in half after hitting the far corner full pelt square on with #5 Carlos behind him. Carlos was upset by the incident and said that he thought he'd let go before the impact, Carlos also seemed genuinely worried about the welfare of Dave. Dave was eventually carefully cut free from the wreck and taken to Lancaster Infirmary, I am sure that we all wish him the best for a speedy recovery.
That said the day itself was a classic, with 15 caravans and a huge crowd watching. There was entertainment in all classes with close nip & tuck racing in the Ministox and Unlimited Minis, loads of action on the Warton Stock Cars as well, indeed a great day. Photos going up now, and the full report soon, as a parting gesture for now, wasn't it good to have Carl back doing the commentary. He was hella good... Welcome back Carl.

DATELINE: 20th August 2003
Caravans are go go go
Even the bath! Yup, more hype!! The caravans are being stripped & prepped for this Sunday at Warton. It should be one of the best specticals of the Warton year. Last time caravans raced was way back on 11th July 1999. There were over 8 caravans and utter chaos round the pit bend, with caravans tipping, but the major smash was at the far corner, where everyone just kept steaming into the pile of timber & cars. It took a while to clear up, but it will be a sight you will never forget
Also thanks to all of you who sent best wishes to my parents. They are both out of hospital now, though a long way of being 100%.

DATELINE: 12th August 2003
Its caravans on the 24th
First time since 1999 Things are going to be good on the 24th August. A load of caravans will be trashed at Warton Stock Car Club, so a few less of the annoying things to slow us up when we want to get somewhere quick. This is a MUST for ALL drivers who despise these ruddy boxes on wheels choking up the countryside. Bring bin bags to pick up the pieces (& gloves) and bring some cotton to sow up your sides that will have split with laffing watching these caravans go the way you have always wished they would :)

DATELINE: 11th August 2003
Sundays report up
A broke backbone of Britain The report is up now, not including the Bangers. I need to see the pics for that :) Im getting good feedback from the new digital pictures, they are huge and clear too. I have mailed the photos to DJ Pep so listen to the Bay and see what he says about his day. The wedding photos and action pics well be back on Wednesday. So loads more to see. Dont forget to post comments in the guestbook or forum...

DATELINE: 10th August 2003
Warton was good
DJ Pep looking like he's Papping himself OK so we had Robins, visitors from Buxton, a hearse and even the weather was great. The downside was the lack of a Robin DD and, more importantly, no Banger DD or mechanics race, only two cars came out, #514 Paul Woods & #41 Dan Steele were the only two who bothered to turn out. Also we had Daddy Steele racing too, after 10 years watching. Ray was fantastic, destroying everyone like hes been doing it for years!
The reception photos are up now too (well up by bedtime) and have their own album. Both sets of photos are from my NEW digital camera, the pics are huge, have a look at them at full size, no more crappy digi pics for this site no more ....

DATELINE: 9th August 2003
Wedding news
No your eyes dont deceive you Here is an update in the wedding of the day of #512 Allan Woods and Joanne. He turns up in a Wolseley, painted in Invader colors of course, and she rolls up in an horse & carrage (not cart as I kept saying), also present was a massive limo and most of the Invaders. Loads of photos to go up in an 'Hello' styley, difficult as I have never seen Hello! Anyway cant stop I got some serious drinking to do tonight to help them celebrate.
Other than to say I have relented nad forked out £160 on a NEW digital camera... So no more crappi digi camera pictures no more. I cant really afford this, but to keep ahead I have bit the bullet so to say, but I would NOT turn down any offers of cash from drivers to help pay for it ... Well its worth asking... See ya tomorrow, but dont shout, my head will hurt, that said Paul Woods is racing!!

DATELINE: 8th August 2003
Robins this Sunday
Oh dear me Right this Sunday sees Robins racing at Warton along with Unlimted Bangers, Super Bangers, Warton Stock Cars, Ministox and Unlimited Minis, who will have two drivers from Buxton joining in for a laff :) So all in all a great day out, the weather looks like its gonna be OK too. And Im of to photograph a wedding tomorrow, that of a certain Mr Allan Woods, hopefully he will remain concious throughout and not set fire to owt. So I will see ya all on Sunday.. It will be a large one!!!!

DATELINE: 4th August 2003
Ello again
How did Paul do??? A few pics of Paul Woods car afterhis trip to either Barford or Millom! Have a look at the newly named Whats Paul doing now page.
Also comments up on some albums too.. I have been busy..
More so as I have also done two new Wallapers!!!! Phew I've worked up a right sweat!

DATELINE: 3rd August 2003
Caught up !
Like the touch of colour? So we have ALL photos up now and we are up to date. There are still the comments to go up yet and I need to sort out stuff for Oval Racing News and Wasted now. The Buxton photos include the roll of Antony Kerr that let me take this picture :)
I know I said I was gonna do a load of updates, but I watched the Grand Prix and got drunk instead :)
I got some pics from Super Banger driver #19 Micheal Bell... Here they are!

DATELINE: 2nd August 2003
Catch up time
Loads to still go up from last week Update weekend, as in I am not going to Millom, or anywhere else, so intend to sort out the site and get rest of Buxton photos up and to put comments on a few recent albums.. All ready for next Sunday and the Robins at Warton.

DATELINE: 29th July 2003
It ner rains but pours
Is he back 4 good? So it seems more problems are besetting the Off Warton Site. This time the site provider has decided to shut down the site at the co.uk part, and wont let it go back up until a wad of cash has been paid. Thankfully the .com part of the site is unaffected, so you can still see what the FIVE lads are up too. Five? Thats half a Blazing Squad pop group :)

DATELINE: 28th July 2003
Photos up.. at last
Its Mr Fideo Took me til past 2AM to get photos up. The propper, good quality ones, will go up tomorrow onwards.
I meant to do a mini report, but forgot... So here one is :)
The meeting at Warton saw young Wacko Jacko cut out of his Metro after a nasty crash. What a differeance at Buxton. The lad won Heat one and two.. We must try harder to knobble him next time. Highlights of the day went to #880 Anthony Kerr rolling in the DD. Earlier, in heat one, one of our TNT cars rolled and the Duck forced a car to roll after it rammed his Metro up the rear :) I had to chuckle.. #111 Mr Pratt, had a massive jacking and was loaded up after a bish bosh in heat two. He was not alone as Buxtons' Danno also got loaded for going the wrong way and taking out TNT's Donkey. Donkey blitzed into two Buxton boys in the final, in an awesome jacking stunt, none of the three carried on :) T-bone was winning the race, but got picked up and thrown into the wreckage from Donkeys adventures... Our fave breadman, Angus, was spunky in his Metro keeping going despite many efforts to stop him. DE had a hard hitting day, but found time to win the Final and doing well in the DD. It was all in vain though as the Buxton boys won with 97 points and our lads getting 68.. I still say its a fix :).. No doubt there will be a rematch next year and I cannot wait for that! Ste Smith was in his F2 and despite a bad first heat, where he span twice and coillect another F2 on his second spin. Heat two was more uneventfull as was the final but remember, we all have to learn somewhere and Ste dont have any sponsorship compared to the other guys hes racing with..

DATELINE: 27th July 2003
Buxton was great...
The Dogs back... But who is its master? That was afun day. The first load of crappy pictures are going to be up very soon. There are 6 rolls of propper photos to go up, Wednesday onwards. Rather annoyingly though, there seems to be a problem with Fototime.. as I cannot upload ANY photos, or view any online or view another websites photos that they keep on Fototime too!

DATELINE: 24th July 2003
Ready to Rumble??
Feeling a bit ruff? THIS Sunday we trapse to Buxton Highedge Raceway, for the return leg of the 12 on 12 Metro bangers. A clue to the retired driver who will race for the Warton team is in the pic.
There is a link to the Buxton website, with directions & times, in my links page! So come on over and support our lads they way the Buxton lot supported theirs at Warton.

DATELINE: 23rd July 2003
All photos up. NOW!
Fed up waiting for photos? Ok sorry for the delay, but the NEW scanner is not doing quite what I want yet, though I have posted all the photos up, 186 in total, I may have to rescan the photos again at a later date.
But all that is old hat anyway, THIS Sunday sees the RETURN leg, at Buxton, for the Metro 12 on 12 and a poss return of an old Warton driver & his mutt?

DATELINE: 22nd July 2003
Latest Points up NOW!
Invaders in good spirits Thanks to VAl for mailing the latest points table to me, its up now for you to have a look at. I have had to buy a new scanner today, as I have knackered out my old one :) It seems they only scan around 10,000 items before breaking, and mine must have done way more than that! So I will have the last 100 photos up tonight, by bedtime, assuming I get the ruddy thing to work!!!!
Oh and BANG BANG Your rebanned from guestbook/forum & chat room. You may not be alone though..

DATELINE: 21st July 2003
Ooops
Thomas is unbroken Right, it seems that my source of info regarding the crash of #16 Thomas Hall, was not right. Thomas was unhurt, though badly shaken up. The broken ankle and leg belongs to John Ball, who was stood the other side of the pit gate and got his lag trapped under it after the crash. So sorry to Thomas & his famaily for getting it wrong and I wish John all the best for a speedy recovery.
Oh the photos will start going up later today too, around 145 in total more to add to the digi ones that are already up now.

DATELINE: 20th July 2003
Im home...
Digi photos up What an odd day what that? Best wishes to Ministox driver #16 Thomas Hall, who had a nasty ankle break in the first heat as his car tried to destroy the pit gate. He got a ride in the air ambulance though, but I dont think that makes up for the pain.. Anyway best wishes and hope your back racing for next season. The DD, how long was that? It was extreamly funny and poss the longest one in Warton history (Inc. Robins). It was the Gary Hesp Memorial meeting and there was a fine Invader turn out with some decent tin to boot. The first, crappy digi, photos up now and six rolls of propper photos from tomorrow night. Around 145 photos.
SHOCK HORROR GASP PROBE.... The Fixtures for 2004 are up now in the FIXTURES section. The first bones of a propper report going up right NOW! So keep it here, the biggest & best.. Radio 1 ... Doh!

DATELINE: 15th July 2003
Buxton photos going up
It was ruddy hot, as were some of the folks there!! Right the first two rolls of film are up, three more tomorrow!
New tin to show tomorrow too from the INVADERS for Sudays meeting. Note there will be the Biggest turn out in Invaders cars since the Stan Woods testamonial at Bell Vue last year.. Should be a good un
Also having dissussed further the dispute between myself and Danny Potts I am pleased to say that he has, finally, removed all trace of my site from his. So as far as I am concerened the matter is closed. That said I will be keeping my eye on the cheeky scamp, just to keep him on the straight and narrow. Other good news is that Ann, Barbie & myself are still friends too.... Aww aint it sweet:)

DATELINE: 13th July 2003
Buxton was fine...
the aftermath Well when I say fine.. I mean bloody scorching! It was a hot day, in more ways than one, there were action from the Super Bangers and Hot Fords, but the main interest was from the King of the Peaks Unlimited Banger races. Four heats with something special in all of them.. Heat one saw one of the many hearses getting followed in then a huge hit on #167 from #57... #57 went on to take the heat. Heat two and a crush ended the day for many, including #501 Steven Kaye in a rare Vallent Two Hundred, no I have no idea what one is, but is seems it may be from Australia or South Africa. #161 had a nasty hard reverse hit in heat three after being span on the striaght, being collected and thrust backwards into the wall. Allan Woods did not finish, but managed to remove a hearse from proceedings. Heat four saw Allans bro Paul also fail to finish but #666 had an almighty smash, his car just fell apart, and #122 & #51 had a fall out that threatened to develop into a fisty cuff fight. It didnt though and in the Consolidation was halted as Allan was knocked out cold after a hit from a mighty big hearse. Singy appeared from no where in a real good looking yank beast, though it seemed to just give up early on in the race. Noony, who himself was bootedwith a yank, almost got rolled as he was rammed up the embankment. The final, the CROWN the King of the Peak, was a brusing affair. Though at the far corner, all we saw close up was a car just... erm stop. #617 was crown King and Dan Steele got a spoon, of some sorts??!! The DD was marred with a nasty crash for Grandads car, though it was not Grandad in it, he had hit a stopped hearse full pelt, and had even bounced back out, only to himself be hit hard. There was some blood and he looked like he didn't know what day it was, but he was VERY lucky to get away so lightly from the wrecking train. Sam Begley was also involved in the incident and had been span, facing the wrong way seeing all the gory detail up close and personal, Sam looked quite shocked at the events that played out in front of him. As is the norm, I wish the injured driver a speedy recovery.. The day ended with one of the Bears launching himself into a team mate, to end/win the DD. With team mates like that, who needs enemies...
I was gutted as I though my little crappy camera had been lost out of a hole in my bag. I was chuffed to find it, in the grass on returning to my car :) So I ran back to pits, almost nakked as it was sooo bleedin hot, and took a few wreck snaps, they are online now. I earier had managed to have a chat with 'WACKO JACKO' the lad injured in the Metro last weekend, he said that he had brusied the inside of his ribs, though there were no external marks, he was confident that he WILL race in the return Metro meeting on the 26th July. Also he may make it to Warton next weekend, which is good to hear.
Talking of Warton Stock Car Club, I was asked to post a picture from there taken this afternoon.. so here it is!

DATELINE: 12th July 2003
Question
??? If you are a little so and so & Cause havoc on other websites in chat rooms/guestbook etc & Steal code from a website to put on your own & Steal photos from another website and put them on your own site without evan asking or giving credit, what do you think would happen to you?
Well Mummy, a committee member, will get you a job on another website to help 'destroy' this one... because 'its too popular' and 'the committee have no control over it'..
Yep I'm talking about Danny Potts and him being hoisted onto the officail website. Then you wonder why I'm in a bad mood at the moment??
Dont believe me?? Well take a look! Click here then click on the team 200 link and look at the racing photos! It all looks like its from MY SITE, excepts its read & pink. The WHOLE links page & photos of Uncle! I do not mind anyone using my photos, ask the Lords, Twists and the INVADER site. But I have refused Danny to use anything of mine cause of his attitude and actions. If you think I'm right then PLEASE say so in either mine, or Dannys guestbook. Or better still write wartononline.com on the drivers wing of what ever car you race at Warton, that way all Dannys pics will remind him of me!
That said I think I'm going to King of the Hills tomorrow. At Buxton starts at 1PM

DATELINE: 10th July 2003
Points Up!
Ooopsey daisy Latest points up now, no change in Ministox & Unlimted minis, though there is plenty of movement in the Stocks & Supers....
WOW Shock news!! The 'other' Warton site has now got 4 people to run it... It seems the committee don't like the fact that my site is more popular.. Its also a shame that NOT ONE committee member bothered to let me know. So if you like my site PLEASE put its name on your car (Be it a SUPER- Stock-Ministox-Unlimited Mini and Banger) wartononline.com
Does ANYONE realise how much time, effort and MONEY I use on this site? I think not!
GRRRRRR I IS ANGERED NOW!
Still life goes on and the report is up NOW!

DATELINE: 9th July 2003
All of Sundays photos up

That was ruddy good!
Ste's car after his roll What a great day that was..... Wrecks all over the place. Action in EVERY race.. More Metros than at a ... ERM Metro shop!? Best wishes to the Buxton lad who had to be cut out of his Metro after a nasty multipal car wreck. Ross Nickson was gutted, thinking it was his fault despite the fact that he got welleied by another Buxton lad and he in turn was hit by a warton Metro... So all in all It was an unfortunate accident. I hope everyone gets well soon and that the injuries are not too serious, though it is better to be safe than sorry.. Also Rolls for The Duck.. As in two rolls, then Ste Smith had a go and almost made it too.. Full report going up soon--ish!
Also what the hell was on fire in Lancaster, I saw the smoke from the track and when I drove past the source, it looked like some kind of factory/works!
