Cop watch
Just a word to the wise, one of the cops who stopped & fined one of our drivers last Sunday, let
slip that they will be back for future meetings this year. So make sure yer lights work, your
not using red diesel, the trailor is roadworthy & the car is strapped down well, the Mrs is gagged, yer wheels won't fall off and tyres are not as bald
as the Conservative party leader, ye have been warned.More photos are now up, report will go up tommoz, and yet more photos on Wednesday, I have to sort out the wedding photos (see left) and send reports to Wasted & Oval Racing News. Its all go you know... I sometimes wish that there was more than one of me, bet your glad there aint:)

A busy weekend
So what a weekend... The Friday night I spent sorting loadsa stuff out. Saturday I photographed
a wedding, highlights inc. the grooms mother falling down stone stairs, shes OK, and a crap disco
where I got really wasted! Woke up ill this morning, drove to Warton and had a busy day again.
Loads of smashes & wrecks , tho most NOT in the bangers, the F2's were in tacktile form too.
Ste Smith made his F2 Debut and #230 David Harrisson had his final day in the Ministox. Best
wishes to the various drivers who hurt themselves. and the first load of photos have been up
a while already... Report & main photos from tomorrow onwards. as a final note, was it me or
was there a great deal of tension at the track today??? And many groups of people talking
in whispers???

Yawn
So the meeting has ended, after starting very late, for some reason. Not heard about any of the
questions being answered, but found out that there was 'Treatening Behavior' from a certain person,
I know who you are, but to save blushes won't say here, also a near 'no confidant vote' too boot,
but its all hearsay and speculation. Also this site may have been nomitated for
posting the 'Newsletter', I knew nothing about this, but will make room on the site to accomodate
it... No doubt, there will be more rants in the Ever Popular Guestbook.... ButLets get this season back on track, punn intended, and get racing. The club needs supporters, not knockers so put you weight behind Warton Stock Car Club and lets make it a season to remember... I thank you!

Also best wishes to Debbie Pennington, who broke two fingwers after a follow in , and to Tut who had to have stitches on his hand after trapping his hand between the wheel & drivers door after a nasty T-bone on his drivers door.

Also BEWARE of those NEW FANGLED speed cameras on Motorways.. They take the reg of your car each time you pass them, then work out how long it took you to get from one to the other. Works out the speed and if you did it too quick then you are going too fast. Now I never thought that these cameras could get your reg.. I was wrong, in Sainsburys in Walton Liverpool they have a TV screen that shows a camera reading numberplates of all the cars going into the petrol pumps.. and its ruddy quick at doing it too. So be warned...

One of those days
Have you ever had one of those days when you go to work and are in 'Zombie' mode all day?
I have today, I couldnt string a sentance together, or grasp the concept of a garage moving
to a new garage & taking its old name with them... I am a dullard.To EVERYONE who has mailed me since 2nd June. Yes! Though still a rumour..!!
Also looks like there will be no photos to buy off me this weekend as FIRST CLASS mail has took 5 days to get to our office, so my wages will go in late! Never mind at least its Unlimited bangers this weekend :) I wonder if Ste Smith will be in his Unlimited Mini ??

Its that time for me to take the wee wee. look at the photos for the team meeting, unbiased
despite my team being bullied!Got lost today in Longton, nr. Preston... How the hell can anyone get lost in Longton? Also saw a motor bike rider who had crashed on Southport prom. I would have stopped, but I would probably have fainted, so, as he had loads of people around him, I carried on.. Ended up in Sayers town, sorry Liverpool, I had to laugh as all the shell/track suits had been left at home & folks were walking round in VERY baggy t-shirts, whats all that about??? :)

Belle Vue Pigs
Well well well, I went to Belle Vue tonight, and had as much fun as I had at Warton yesterday!
The Robins were awesome, mainly in first race, and the bangers & V8's also gave action. I have
posted 47 photos from my crap dogicam thing, the PROPPER photos will be up in a while. I need
some money to get them developed, so please bear with me :)So here follows a Mini report, no results as I could not hear the commentator at all! The Big V8's had an interesting night, though heat one was quite tame and #222 Peter Bott won it. Heat two saw a waved yellow flag as a car had to be removed after it had lost a wheel & tried to destroy the pit entrance. The Final saw a massive crash, though I didn't see it happen, I saw the aftermath, that being #313 Andy Craven having an expensive repair job to replace some very damaged panelling. A fence post had also got more than a tad bent...
The Bangers were limited and featured Jon Atkinson in his slightly damaged Triumph that raced at Warton yesterday. Also #512 Allan Woods was out in a car that had been set up on the day, and was still being sorted at the track, a Nissan. Around 35 bangers were out for heat one, #319 Shovy did not start in his tidy tin of the day Austin. Jon lost a front tyre and team mate Big Al also went out. The race itself was quite tame really, well when I say tame, I mean hard hitting but most cars would be able to return. Heat two, saw most of the cars from heat one, inc #143 Sam Begley, who had made a mad dash from Buxton, where he had been racing. Again loads of action, seeing Jon getting his rear stuck to another car and towing it around the track!. But nothing could prepare us for the Final & DD... I had earlier been talking to #222 Dave Butler about the state his last estate ended up in last time I was at Belle Vue. So after the destruction of the final, I was impressed to see Dave in one piece and stuff another car... Out of the corner of my eye I saw a Bluebird at full pelt.... Dave's Estate was smaller than a Robin, thanks to Allan Woods.. It, rightly, won hit of the meeting and amazingly Allan carried on racing, smashing into loads of other cars before the Bluebird became a dead bird..
Robins are always fun to watch and they were very good at this meeting. It was my first time seeing them on a gravel track, and I was impressed at the speed the managed to get. Needless to say the crashes were something else. Heat one was the best and the rolls went on and on. End over end, barrel rolls, you name them, we saw them. #319 Shovy, had a Pig too, and ended up on the fence, the race had to be stopped as he was freed. #351 Tut Knowles pulled out early and Dan Peel did a massive solo roll over the finish line to celebrate his second place. The guy who plays Kain Dingle, in Emmerdale, was asked if he wanted to race a pig in heat two, he politely, but firmly refused, not that I can blame him. Heat two itself was a little tamer, though plenty of bits of pig littered the track. One Robin ended up with no rear bodywork at all. He, along with many others, rolled out with his rollcage and sewing machine engine, for the final. Again the action was less intense than the first heat, and #409 Carlos Bananas ended up on his side in the flower bed..
Indeed it was a Mini adventure....THE END.

If you stayed away from Warton today, you are a fool cause it was great fun. The Team Meeting looked like it was not going to be any good, but it
turned out to be awesome! As was the weather, I think this was my favourite meeting so far this
season. Thanks to BAM BAM, RAM RAM and FAT DAZ for forming a team for me. You did well lads,
well when I say well I mean shite, but we all had a great laff :) Also thanks to SCRUFF, who also
had my site addy on his car :) Ta mate. The first load of photos are up, they are the digital ones.
I have over five rolls of normal film to get developed as soon as I can afford too. So watch
this space, have a chat with some woman, Helen, Saint, TC and others in chat room and I may
see you at Belle Vue tomorrow, if I can find a way to get there, its ROBINS!!!! We like Robins.

OK that was fun..
What a long day... but great fun. The F2's and Miniscotchs, I mean ministox, sorry, gave plenty
of Northern action, though as they both needed seperate heats to race, it did lengthen the day
a bit more than a tad. Best wishes to two banger drivers... The first being the INVADERS #514
Paul 'fireball' Woods, who thinks he may have broken his leg! And also the banger driver who
was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg.. and not forgeting Stock Car driver #5 Jonathan
Clarkson who had a nasty knock & went away in the nah nah too! We were damn lucky with the weather
too, ok it rained a little and was windy, but I was expecting much worse weather! I have posted
the FIRST 50 photos already and will add the normal photos, 5 rolls with 30plus on each, tomorrow onwards!But HANG ON THOUGH! Its less than a week to the next meeting... and that one is the TEAM MEETING!

I'm fed up!
Decided to got to Belle Vue tonight, after The Invaders asked me too again. Though money is tight
I borrowed some for petrol & drove to Manchester. I only had £10 on me and as I have no cash
in the bank, that's ALL the money I have! It cost £12 to get in! I waited outside to see if I
could borrow some cash of any Warton driver & only saw two & they drove past me! I waited an hour
gave up & came home. I ain't going back to Bell Vue Ever again, I was sooo embarrassed... Due to cash flow problems and not selling all the posters I took to Warton yesterday, I have had to put the photos in on two day developing.. Sorry for delay, NOTE people keep asking but, I DO NOT SUPPLY ANY PHOTOGRAPHS TO THE TRACK SHOP, I MAKE NO MONEY FROM GOING TO WARTON AND RUNNING THIS SITE, so don't think your helping me when you buy photos from the track shop, cause your not! Rant over...

Belle Vue was great!
Went to Belle View & got a very warm welcome from the organisers. I was invited yesterday by
the Invaders, who had a 14 on 14 with The Demons. The Invaders won the race, but The Demons got
one point more (Fix I here you say).. But the Invaders took it well. Tyrone & Kurt were the celebs
of the night (From Corrie!! How many people do you know called Tyrone??). There were 44 bangers
out in heat one of 'normal' bangers, including Team V, TNT and Hirdy! The usual carnage ensued. Though that said there were
about the same out for the final. The DD also had a strong turnout of around 20 cars. Most trashed
car was, without doubt, the former estate of Demons driver #327?, whick was not much bigger than
a can of beans. Idiot of the meeting was #53 who went out in a VW Beetle! Yes I said a VW Beetle,
he lasted well, though was only on the track once... Tin of the meet was once again #340 Jay Atkinson
in what looked like a MG sports car! It was a spunky car too, as it made it through every race!
There were also a shedload of Ministox, who are a great deal more physical on the track than our
lot! V8 Stox form the last class of racing, these noisy brutes were also very into contact and a few
even managed to take off a little, but not to the height of Ian at warton yesterday. All in all
it was a good night out. I got home just gone 11PM and will go to the May Day meeting in a fortnight!Also the report from Sunday is almost done, via reports section and most the photos up too :)

Solved mystery
I was kidnapped this morning, trussed like a turkey & hooded, I felt like an Iraqie, but
there was not one around so I made do with TMK.. We ended up in Prestatyn, where TMK raced
in the defunct 2001 season. We were also joined by a smattering of Invaders and Billy & Rodder
Kellett, it was like home from home, the action was fast & furious and it was deemed to be a great
day all round.. The other classes gave great action too, there was 5 rolls and more than a few
bent motors!
