Im going to Coventry
So then,I start my new job on Monday.. With a weeks training in Coventry.that means no more updates til next weekend, I have added a Bad Newz team thing and will add a Members Only, TDB & some other Scruff team!
I am gonna sort out the Inlive thing, as it onlt sees the title page, the one before this one, and needs to see this page, where most of the visitors stay longer :)

Had a message from #18 Andrew Molloy.'I was wondering if you could advertise my mini that is for sale. It has raced 2 seasons at Warton and two at Barrow coming second in the championship at Barrow last season. It is ready to race with an improved engine. We are able to deliver it and it will have all spares with it. £850! Thank you for your co-operation.' Sounds a bit like Robocop at the end!

New Section
Its took a great deal longer than I thought, but I now have a new section that shows the

Wowser!! What a day!
I liked it today, plenty of wrecks, jackings, a roll & a fire, and that was just the Invaders!
Yup around 60 bangers came out and gave it loads, report up later 79 photos UP NOW!!!!I also have SIX rolls of film to get developed and they should start going up tomorrow onwards :)

Metal Mania II SCARY
Fat Daz says he & his mate are going to kick ass on Sunday, and if your not careful
you will get to see his... RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!!!!!That said I am looking forward to THIS Sunday and the 50plus bangers going out to mash & crash each others, remember that entrance fees are as cheap as chips :)
Also there is going to be a new section FOR SALE board, FREE and the first item should be up before midnight :)
I have also give my notice in at work, so SKY will have to find another fool to go on roofs for a pittance!! LOL I suppose that means I will have more time to work on this site:)

travelled, material, best presented and most destructive, that is in addition to the heats,
consolation, Final, DD, etc. Also Blitz will be on sale at a Blitz stand!!!

Did not go to Icebreaker, couldn't be arsed. Less than a month
to metal mania at Warton, not sure how many bangers are booked in, I assume I'll get a list
before the big day. The SnOrK awards votes have closed and I will post the winners soon, the most
popular category was the 'Villain of the Year'..... Followed by 'Most changed car' :)

News from committee
The committee have asked me to post some information for everyone.1. Membership for 2003 will be £50 until 21 February - that is cheques and POs received by Shirley up to that date. After 21 February it will be £55. Please make out cheques and POs to Warton Stock Car Club, please do NOT send cash. Registration meeting is Tuesday 4 February but applications may be posted to Shirley.
2. Due to heavy demand there will be an open PRACTICE DAY at Warton track on Sunday 23 March from 10am until 4pm. The fee to drivers will be £20 but drivers MUST book in with Mick (01524 858301). Refreshments will be available on the day
3. Work will continue at the track again from Sunday 9 February at 10am...
So there you have it, I have also received the final confirmed dates for this coming season, see them in the fixtures section.

AGM THIS Tuesday
8PM on Tuesday is your LAST chance to make a change of the committee
, The Cocked Hat is straight on at the lights, where we turn right to get to the track in Carnforth
town centre, its on the right 200 yards after the lights, that makes more sense in my head than
it does here :) I expect everyone who does not bother to go & vote, not to complain this season.There are some JUNIOR BANGER meetings this season too, I'm awaiting the dates off Val and will post them as soon as I get them..
have the dates for the next Prestatyn season, 6th April, 1st, 14th/15th & 29th June, 13th & 17th July are the dates that don't clash with Warton.

Civil War 4 photos up
Ok then ALL the photos are up from Sunday, I got my propper
photos back last night, but they were out of focus, so I had to take them back & get them reprinted
all 36 of them. There is a total of 108 photos up now, just think how many there would have been

Civil War 4 is over
What a great day that was, well except for my camera breaking and having to borrow
two off various folks, thanks Andy, Debs & Jill also to Stu Kearsley who got me a track pass, thanks mate :)
.. The first 60 Photos are up NOW..It all started well with a short, but still impressive, snowball fight between the two factions. The action was a little slow at first but by the end of the day it was carnage, I have rarely seen so many knackered wrecks in one day, who knew that Metros can fold to half their size ?? Tin of the day was deffo the Impressive looking Yank Tank of Singy, which did its job as in getting many of the Southern Softies to smash their own cars up crashing into it :) Warton driver of the day was, without doubt, Smelly Mark Bass, who bashed, crashed and tore into everything, and he even helped out after the races to clear our fallen comrades to the safe area... I only heard 1 score during the day the North on 500plus points and the South on 400plus.. I will add more as I get to see some of my pics.. and get feedback from you lot :) The only other thing to say is that Civil War V will be at Hednesford next year, yer gotta be smug :)

New Look
Tis the season to be jolly. New site, well new look.Spent the night at a house party where the hosts were having an hotpot competition, the blocked rolled the pastry (I use the term loosely) with a full bottle of Red Square Cranberry! His missies used a milk bottle with milk dripping out of it, I declined the taste test.. Wasted, I got to bed at 9AM, up at midday and have to cook for 11 people a New Years lunch, I trust you all had similar nights and had fun and wish you all the best for the New Year and thank you all for your continued support..
Oh and all 188 photos from Sunday are online now! Report & comments to follow :) there are now 5700plus photos in the various albums!! That is a helluva lot!

2003 Dates!
I have had it pointed out that the dates for NEXT season
were in the program from the last meeting. So I have put them on the site, in the fixtures
section.. Caravans and Robins and Metros are all lined up :) I'm excited already :)

It has been confirmed by the committee that there will
be no junior bangers racing at Christmas, I assume it will be ministox instead :)

ANDYS' BAN REDUCED.
Banger driver #666 Andy Pennington has had his life ban reduced to a
years ban. His son, #667 Martin, has had his ban shifted from six meetings down to four.This followed an appeal after the original bans were handed out following the brawl after the DD on 6th October this year.
Andy, who has been racing for the last number of decades, has been a regular entertainer and favourite driver for the Warton crowds. His team mates, TMK, will still race at Warton and sponsor the Christmas Meeting as previously agreed.
There has been no word on #2 Rick Ball, who was also involved in the affray.
