So the latest in a long line of Need for Speed titles, going back to a crappy Amiga title, I think.
.. But is it as good as the rest ? Well, so
far, no coppers chasing you, its just a race game... Actually, thats not true.. NFS Underground
is an awesome racing game, great tracks, very fast, clever shortcuts and not rock solid! I started
with a pouugeot car, and now, three days later I got a poogeot.. Only its modified, I could make
the lads at Cheshire Cruise jelous with this motor now. You win money in the Fast n Furious style
races, that gives the funds to upgrade EVERYTHING on your car, inc. painting the alloys! Main gripe
is the fact there are no replays! Makes me cry that! Though you get fab slo-mo shots of jumps
and crashes it don't stop me wanting replays! There are a load of modes to play in too, inc a free
drive, where you can drive like yer dad round the tracks looking for short cuts.. This is a must
have game.
The graphics are OK, not awesome, its night racing in the
same city, which does look good to be fair. Once you learn the tracks it gets easier. The best bit
is the paint/body shop. Where you get to preview wot your car will look like with the various bits.
