??????

So, no snow, but plenty of ice and even more action. The rain held off, but the hard hitters did not. It was cold, but the racing was hot... blah blah blah.
So most of were still slightly hung over, except some of the kids, who were in their Jnr Bangers today. Heat one and lil saint (# 93) recovered well after Jimbob span him out, that said mini saint had span out Sean Bapboy, causing a bap to appear in his pants. There was a strong turnout of Hillbillys and a few Invaders too, but heat two saw # 138 (Son of the Noddy one) David K, getting stuck into Saint, # 3, and throwing # 999 Darrell Shaw into an emergency spin, with big air too.. S o N then had same treatment put onto him by the Bob of Jim land! # 47 caused a red flag after a knock, but walked away, and I trust is OK. The final and # 999 was in the middle of Shaun and S o N and they ended up in a pile with Mini Saint. A good recovery from all and action again, this time # 284 getting sapn out by Hillbilly # 188. Shaun was releasing another bap in his pants, after flying high and out. The sad git Stalker, who had not raced his car all day, cause it wasn't working, got a push off the track, after not starting again, and stole the pic off my site, but wait, cut it so you couldn't see the tractor pushing him, and adding EXTRA signage that wasn't on the car to make it look cool... How sad.
The Warton Stock cars were, ERM, interesting. There was a car that looked like it had been won from a cracker, and caused much merriment, and a debut for # 343 Lee 'Ministox Champ' Wrennall. Heat one saw # 169, Cracker, have a few spins and # 65 also face in the incorrect direction. Heat two and close racing prevailed, # 134 MB Alex Chapman had a spin and Cracker seemed to have gotten to grips with his new toy. It was soon final time and Cracker had a big moment on start finish line # 380 Lenord... wait no its not!! Its # 62 David xSG Eccles in his first meeting in Stock Car spinning.... twice! Dan Wrennall won the race and we were all happy...
Well when I say all I exclude the Super Banger Drivers, whom were joined by three Unlimited Minis!! Ste Smith, # 44, started from the rear of the grid, but fought his way through to take an impressive win, unimpressed was Peggy Butcher, who ended up with a trashed car as a Unlimited Mini butty filling. Heat two and # 19 Michael Bell, in a black car, caused waved yellows after spinning and stopping in middle of the entrance to far corner. Then it all went mental! # 668 got given the win dispite being black flagged and being on the infield, for contacting another car in this, a con tact sport! Dummies spat out all over the place, one whizzed past my ear at 100 miles an hour. It all sorted itself out for the final.. and Ste Smith was back out and having great fun drag racing with the various huge supers, usually winning them to next corner. # 25 Andy Yeats and # 274 DC, with his reshaped Super, ended up in a pile, tho DC carried on.
The biggest action was in the Bangers and it kicked off from the start. Heat one and # 700 Lollipop ended up in the wall. Donkey, had an hearse and the Duck ended up in the middle of crush, with Winkie and others. Bad Newz solo driver, GypoJim was to rimmer, as he was without a tyre on front of car for most of race! The hearse, tho it failed to finish, was intact at the end of the race, and Molloy was 'accidentally ' hit by a couple of TMK cars, after he was mouthing off to them in the chatroom, wot a coincidence.. # 215 got span in heat two and decided to carry on regardless, THE WRONG WAY. # 298 Nicky, from TNT, hit him head on, both out and Dads engine broke to boot! # 41 Dan Steele was having great problems with his steering, but it was all fixed for the final. The first car to spin was # 549 of TMK and # 18 Andrew Molloy, in a black XJS in his first adult banger meeting, was punted by Grandad, # 157, #493 was lifted by a hard rear end shunt, but Shovy went one better, having a huge roll al most at my feet! Everyone was ok and racing continued, Dan Steele removed # 691 and # 291, Fat Boy ESQ drove though TEAMMATES hearse.. Donkey was very happy though. Odd lot these banger drivers! The DD and Wingnut, in another crap car of the day, moved about three foot, before his Yank tank was blitzed. Wingnuts bro, Martin, was snapped by Dan, The Duck attacked Molloy and he ended up in pit wall with his XJS looking like a Metro!
Yup it was a good day and a good meeting as an end to the reign of O'Brien, Mick O'Brien. Roll on 2004. The CWV is next and MMIII is in March.. Looking good!
