MINISTOX
A slippy start for heat one and a red flag after # 928 Doddyman Dodds span and went backwards into
the far corner wall. He was Ok, least until he was t-boned by # 333. The Doddster had only
brusing to his back and neck and raced again later in the day. # 161 failed to restart. # 333
span and as cars tried avoid him # 602 Adam Taylor took to the air and infield smashing his suspension on
front right, # 232 Josh Quinlan went in a spin and ended up backwards in the wall. He seemed
ok and got out of the car, with a sniff neck. Heat two eventually started # 999 Darrell Shaw
and # 131 Davey Jones both failed to finish. # 16 Posh Hall was almost taken out on the last corner
corner by a back marker, he masterfully controlled the slide to take the win. A scappy final
# 300 Jordan Rainford and # 444 Lucy Hyphenated out after a bash in pit exit. # 602 Adam Taylor
lost the drivers front wheel again. # 131 Davey Jones won and # 16 Posh Hall and # 161 Nick
Hyphenated took each other out of second and third place a lap before the end, giving # 101
Jimbob some extra points. The Grand National driver showed a masterfull undertaking manouver
by # 16 Posh Hall as he passed # 28 Big Willi, sadly Posh ended up in Malcolms gate at the next
corner!! He was joined by # 333 and # 232 Josh Quinlan. # 602 showed some class, keeping away from
the wall and controling his car after hitting and being hit by others. The win was # 101 Jimbob
Hayhursts.
SUPER BANGERS
Heat one a bit of action # 163 ended up under Cavanagh QCs car in a bit of a pile up on the
pit bend, all the cars carried on though. Heat two very very scrappy, massive pile up in far corner
# 88 John Kerr ended up going out, he was less than impressed with # 163 in the Nissan. The
final was a like a banger final # 14 John Riley out early on # 356 Paul Anderson did a
two wheel spesh. # 274 DC was taken out too, # 244 Mad Mart went on to take the win, but
plenty of cars were left with damaged body pannels. # 100 Peggy Potts out after being pushed into
wall in far corner, # 439 Rodder Kellett took the win.
WARTON STOCK CARS
Plenty of minor tangles in heat one, Ricky Ball got span out but no one could catch # 134 Alex Chapman
as he blasted to victory. # 134 Alex Chapman went out with a flat tyre and to be honest it
was a quiet race apart from that.. a good win for # 102 Dean Simpson. Entertaining as # 533
John Whittaker span and # 67 Peter Fawcett ran into him, # 102 Dean Simpson took the win. A
close clean race with a win for # 135 Mick Howarth.
BANGERS
Heat one saw a new team, Team Raiders, # 449 Paul (the Duck) Gore, # 249 Darren Gore and # 149
Mark Thomas (New Team-New Painjob-New Attitude). Darren out early on, in wall at pit corner
exit. # 106 Ian Roberts span out big time, Fat daz was also out early, no massive action though.
Heat two, loads started and only 1 finished.. massive Warton Crush in pit corner, # 41 Dan Steele
bashed his way through to win, # 118 Got your number was black flagged after cutting through
the infield. Final action in pit corner # 106 mullered into wall and Team Raiders took on Team V, well
# 266 Big Al, both bashing into him making his Jag look very short. # 42 Donkey took on another
car that attacked Big Al, TNT backing up Team V ??? Wots that about ? # 57 Steve Hardy spent some
time spinning, # 41 Dan Steele took another victory. Jackings galore, with # 266 Big Al taking on
everyone, Donkey was in Darrens car. Basher Kay, in the Voctor was wasted, but mind you most were.
The DD was too exciting with some well placed good hits galore.
CARAVANS
The best tin was # 501 Basher Kaye, with a Victor Super, that didnt make it to the HESP meeting
and Danno Peel, in an hearse, both looking odd with caravans in tow!
The hugly impressive, as is the norm... Massive roll for # 170 Bones and a red flag. The restart
and still 8 cars going, though only one finished. Publandlord # 57 Steve Hardy.
