24th June 2007 We had plenty of Ministox and # 300 Jordan Rainford and # 93 Sammi Twist led the way with wins shared between each other and some great close action all day through the wet, slippy then dry conditions. We had a rerun of the previous meetings Grand National which Rainford won, again. Heats one, two and three had waved yellows after a few incidents and spins. The Final saw a major coming together at Malcolms gate, taking out a few cars, # 245 Sam Makim had a hefty spin at my corner, but the win was for Twist. The grand National was a cleaner affair with Rainford getting that victory. The Super Bangers and Stock Cars were as entertaining as ever, all seemed to cope with the changing track conditions, it was weird seeing yet another former Ministox driver taking up the stock car class, # 206 Bobby Ewing did well, and stayed out of trouble and went fast too, faster, dare I say, than another non named former stox champion… (its ok Jimbob, no one knows I mean you mate :). The Supers had another day dominated by the top lady at the Woolpack, yes # 100 Diane Sugden was giving it loads and, thankfully, she had not brought that two timing murdering swine Billy with her.. Phew.. That said # 244 Emenemnem won a bit too, inc the Fianl. There was a slo-mo roll for a Fiesta (# 944) and Gayboy had loaned his car to # 439 Bionic Kellett, who used it as a battering ram, it was quality, well unless you were # 72 Stavros!! More banger action (19 cars raced) than you could shake yer stick at, again, heat one and a pile driver, side on, for # 316 Jason Ollerenshaw by # 474 Phil Clegg…..WOT!!! That kind sweet bloke, doing Ollerenshaw ? Well I'm blowed. Fat boy was duly picked on by Bad Newz, part on an ongoing feud, so he told me, he managed to get the car out again later in the day though. # 15 Shady Shaun took heat one, Harty took heat two, a quieter affair. It was a free for all at the start of the Final, with almost everyone getting a feel of the outer wall, some harder than others. # 105 Steve Johnson had a great time, even managing a full roll, then driving off again, though not far.. Still I was impressed. Harty was the guy with a flag. Plenty out for the Dash4Cash & DD with Harty taking both, though the latter went on and on (longer than an Ariston) and was very mucho fabo.
