23rd July 2006 MINISTOX Action straight off in heat one when # 300 Jordan Rainford decided to see what the track looks like from an upside down car, he was OK and the race restarted and we were treated to a great race between # 140 Sam Taylor and retiring # 138 David Kellett, both of whom avoided # 118 Jonny Love who was loveingly driving his car as the two others passed him either side.. The win went to # 17 Jamie McCann, who erm didn't crash, erm didn't have bits of his car fall off and didn't not finish... He WON, JAMIE WON A RACE... JAMIE FINISHED A RACE!!! Theres a flying pig, oh its ok its been fired over from the States by the Mythbusters boys :) . Three false starts for heat two, # 138 Dave Kellett was out before the race started. # 93 Lil Saint took the win of an incident free, fast and skillfull race. # 23 Dean Hoggarth decided to let his car have a lie down on its side in the Final, well it was a ruddy hot day ! The race for the lead was awesome between # 93 Saint and # 232 Stunty, with Stunty winning by a short bonnet. Another red flag was shown, this time in the Grand National, after # 415 Sean Haggas decided to to a Robin impression, sadly his Ministox ground to a halt as it really needs all for wheels, not just three to move! Once again the racing was fast and frantic, with no incidents until the last lap, where # 600 louise Rainford hit the wall hard, she was shaken and bruised but OK, a result was given and it twere # 93 Saint who got the chequered flag.. STOCK CARS To major incidents in heat one, first off # 134 Alex Chapman was out after a spin in the far corner, then a few laps later # 3 Big Saint and # 264 Roland Kesall got tangled and as they drifted to the outside of the track, they collected # 80 Glenn Lord. # 808 Wayne Clarke got the victory and was more chuffed than a chuffed chuff in chuff land! # 91 Phil Cleg left heat two after he it the outer wall, there were a few more spins and the odd nudge, # 533 John Whittaker went on to be number one in the heat. The win in the final was # 24 Dicky Harris, who avoided the various spins and minor accidents in a flawless race! Grand National time and # 134 Chapman was out again, this time after a bump with # 264 Kesall, No such bad luck for # 246 Billy Smith who went on to win !
