MINISTOX Ministox, again we saw our junior drivers show some amazing car control, as these Minis were flying the track seemed perfect for some high speed shenanigans . Heat one and Sam went into the entrance gate, bringing out the red flags, then we were treated to some long close racing from # 93 Saint II, # 140 Sam Taylor, 208 , # 232 Stunty and # 300 Jordan Rainford. All these cars could have taken the win, Saint II, however, was the first over the line. # 415 Sean Haggas tapped # 11 and some bits fell off of Seans' car! Heat two and again it was a busy track, there were plenty of spins and a big off for # 300 J.R. Ewing, having some impressive big air as he launched onto the infield on the pit straight. # 107 had a bad spin and we had red flags after # 285 had an accident on the pit bend, he got out of his car after being told his roof was to be cut orf.. A result was given and # 165 was the victor. We were treated to some more great racing in the final, with cars going full pelt five a breast at times! There were a few minor spins, then all hell broke loose, # 164 after a hit, lost a wheel & brake disk, the race was red flagged and loads of cars ended up piling into each other, # 245 Sam Makim, hit the wheel, almost getting himself rolled over. Every was OK and # 232 Stunty was the winner. A great Grand National with # 54 racing well until they were span out, # 415 Haggas was quite sluggish and that Saint II came out on top as the winner

STOCK CARS Stock Cars had a great day again, heat one was very clean, # 808 had an oil leak and # 347 Hoss Nelson pulled out. 35 was smoking like a beadle in the seventies, though he did manage to finish. # 533 Johnny Egg, took the heat win. The second heat saw a few more spins, # 24 Dickey Harris and # 342 Dan Wrennall, get inter locked, they both kept going and untangled at speed on the pit straight, it must have worked well as Dan went on to take the victory!. # 234 Jason Lord brought out red flags in heat three after loosing a tyre in the pit bend, his brother, # 80 Glen Lord had his car heavily damaged after getting caught up with # 24 Dickey Harris on the pit straight, causing Glen to hit Garys marshal post side on. Glen was a tad upset and told Dickey what he thought of him. # 35 Jason Yeates managed to survive the carnage and finish the race in first place! The Final was a very stop start affair. Two reds and loads of spins, # 35 Yeates and # 134 Alex Chapman were out after an incident and the win went to # 342 Dan Wrennall. Grand national was next and another red flag, after # 3 Saint I was span and # 230 Ian Mather hit him head on, thankfully Mather was only winded and racing resumed. It was Fast n Furious, though no Tokyo drifts, # 672 Steve Tap was out with rear end damage and # 911 Peter Kaulbarsch went on to win

SUPER BANGERS Super Bangers were back with their noisy big beasts, though that said, heat one was close and tame, only # 274 DC pulled out with no power, # 964 Ant Whittaker took the win. It was a much more exciting heat two, with all the cars only in about quarter of the track for a few laps. It was very tight, and a spin for # 274 DC from # 57 Gayboy and # 439 Bionic Kellett was the winner. The final was fun, # 141 Alan Brown was pushed down the start finish straight. There was a great scrap for the lead between # 964 Whitaker, # 439 Bionic, # 244 Emenemnem and # 57 Gayboy. Gayboy span out on next to last lap and # 182 Michelle Creighton had a few spins and # 76 Mart Chadwick bounced from his right wheels to left and back again a few times, never quite rolling, though I think new boxers were called for afterwards. # 964 Whitaker was the winner. The reds were out in the Grand National after # 100 Diane Sugden was involved in a smash in the Start-Finish straight. This was moments after # 424 Yilmaz Samilolu went out on the opposing straight. It was a fast restart and again # 274 DC pulled out and again # 439 Bionic Kellett won.

BANGERS Bangers had some nice tin with a Granny Limo (# 106 Ian Barton) and a Hearse, the latter driven by # 501 Basher Kaye. There was a well prepped TMK car, driven by # 665 Paul Pennington, that said heat one saw a few spins, for Pennington, Barton and # 693. All this was in the far corner and near enough blocked the track. # 514 Paul Woods survived and took the win. Bashers first race was heat two and the hearse was taken on by two cars, Basher fought them off and took out the Granny limo, all this happened in the far corner in about twenty seconds! # 341 was the winner. Thirteen started the Final and again Basher showed some skill, by threading his hearse, at speed between some wrecked cars in the far corner. It was a quality race, and despite there not being many hits, it was fast and exciting! That Woods guy won again. The Banger Mechanics and DD saw yet more action, Pennington buried himself in the hearse, that had snapped after a head on with the Limo, # 611 Dave Stansfeild won the Mechanics race and Pennington was given the DD win. Great stuff.
