We know the North are more powerfull than the South, hell WE KNOW THAT ALREADY AFTER ALL WE ARE THE NORTHERNERS.. But there is an important question to ask...

Which is better, the Lancashire Flatcaps or the Yorkshire Whippits ??

Well now we can find out, as Warton Stock Car Club introduces, for 2006 and beyond, The WARton of the ROSES.

Two teams of bangers will battle for their honor and glory, who will win? Are flatcaps best, or will the Whippits prevail?

The teams must be made of Yorkshire or Lancashire heros, but they can have guest drivers, a limit of ten per team.

40 cars per team consisting of :

10 Young Guns 14-16 year olds in cars under 1400cc

15 Adults in cars under 2LTR

15 Big Buggers Adults in cars over 2LTR

Points will be awarded for skill and survival.

The weak links will be disposed off.

Only the strongest will make it to the Final.

The wounded will return for the final Destruction Derbies.

Only one team can take away the prize fund.
