For well over 30 years Warton Stock Car Club has been bringing the thrills and spills of motor racing to the North West. We are a members club who invite anyone to visit us to watch racing on the quarter mile tarmaced short oval. Its inexpensive to watch, FREE for children under ten, £4 for 10-16 year olds and O.A.P.s and only £9 for adults. We race FIVE classes including Ministox (Kids in 1000 modified Minis) - Supers (Welded beasts with big engines) - Snr. Minis (Adult Mini class with 1300cc power houses) and Stock Cars (Purpose built racers with fins and huge power plants on baord). We also race Bangers (MOT Failure cars going out with a smash, bang and whallop. Often driven to destruction). For more details click on the Classes link below).

  • Metal Mania is fast approaching along with the 1400cc Team Meeting so Banger Drivers please try and book in ASAP..

  • 28 Bangers raced on Sunday.. not bad after the Civil War the day before.

  • Don't forget its the AGM next Wednesday, 3rd Feb. please make an effort to go, if you were a member in 2009, as theres alot to get through & its always best hearing things first hand instead of the Chinese Whispers that seem to be part of Warton these days. A good example being someone with nothing better to do than try & hinder the club, texting & telling anyone who would listen that we were NOT racing on Sunday. An utter downright lie... Unless you hear anything from either this site/twitter or facebook off me, then ask questions & speak to a committee member. BTW my name on Facebook is Sn Ork (inc space). Or have a look at the friends lists of many Warton regulars.
