30:06:02 Tis good news about the air lifted driver..
#555 Martin Yeates, the ministox driver cut out of his car, has been allowed
home tonight, he has servere brusing.
Also, due to being caught up in that bleedin traffic jam on the M6, with my window screen
dripping with water, so I had to put the heater on full, nearly passing out in the process!,
the report will go up tomorrow night, I also need to get to bed by 10:30 (to get up at 3AM)
and dry out my VERY soggy paperwork!.
Also I lost a roll of film, it jammed into my camera and I could not get it out, without loosing
all my photos on it! I was a bit vexed.
Thanks to the bloke who suggested I used the video mans place to shelter, it was an inspired idea.

I never knew that there was TWO 3 O'Clocks! I know there is now, as its the
time I get up for work! I am a bread delivery man.. I have to have a nap in the afternoon now
, like your granny (no not yer banger). I will be at Warton on Sunday as I get Sundays off, unless
I want to do overtime.
I am doing the CDROM of last meeting as we speak, not that I am speaking at this moment.. You know
what I mean, I think!

21:06:02 Bad News.
I have just spoken to Jim, of BVS Videos, who confirmed that they will no
longer be able to go to Warton anymore. The main reason is lack of sales, Jim is a businessman
and needs to make a profit for all the work and time that it takes to edit the videos etc.
Don't worry, if you have ordered a video of the last meeting, they will be at the trackshop
for collection. and you still can order any of the videos from the meetings that he has
done, a full list is on the Video page.
Jim added that he loved visiting us and made a lot of new friends. I wished him well and
will miss him wondering around the pits, I can't help but think that
I may have been the straw that broke the camels back! He did interview me last Sunday!
Maybe if you all ring him and place orders he may change his mind.. But save some money for
me!! I don't need to make a profit, just break even!

Hmmm humble pie. I can't help but think I was out of order putting what I put
on here yesterday, I was just that wound up. Another chat and things are back to normal, I think.

Next meeting is the FUN METRO meeting.. and if its anything like the last Metro meetings it

Hmmm hmmmm hmmmmm hmmm hmmm. I am pondering if I have a future at Warton after
a long chat with Val today. I was miffed that she was selling my photos in the shop for less
than me, they buy them off me and 'can do what we want with them'. Also the site has a dodgey
future, Val does not think is Warton enough - As in I talk about things that happen to me that
is not Warton related and that the Guestbook & Forum are 'just daft'. So I am throwing it open
to you.. The forum has two entries 'SnOrK should quit Warton because...' and 'SnOrK should stay
at Warton because...' To be honest I don't give a poo if I stay or go...
I will do a report later, I need to dry myself and my note book and have some tea, and see if
I can be arsed with doing one (I'm not at the moment!!)

12:06:02 An odd day!
Wot a bizarre day today was, I rang up asking about work at this place,
got told to pop down for an interview at 2:30. I get ready, casual, t-shirt and pants and set
off, on foot. I then realise that I have scruffy trainers on, turn round and change into
shoes. Off again, it starts raining, back again, for a jacket.. third time lucky! I get
there about 30 minutes later, sweating like a pig, the rain stopped and its really hot now!
I get in to the reception and get asked by a bloke 'You here for an interview?' 'yes' I reply
'but only as a van driver'. Turns out he's the interviewer !! Doh! I have to fill a form in,
sweat is pouring off me, back & chest, this company must never have heard of air conditioning
I fill the form in and wait.. and wait and wait. This guy comes back and we go in a small office.
I think 'this is going Ok now' then realise that I have my arms on the desk, head on my thumbs
staring at this bloke, I try to sit up and look kewl and kick the panel off the front of the
desk.. The interview finished and the guy said he will let me know either way on Thursday, about
what I'm not sure, the damage to the office or the job! Any way I think I made an impression..
and I think I had better look else where :) Still poo occurs!

An electric day with drivers whipping up a storm.. And thunder as well.. What a day.
It was quieter than normal, no doubt many stayed at home/in the pub watching England do OK
at the footie..
Maybe thats why I only made a tenner from the CDROMS.. Not enough to get the photos developed
the speed you demand.. But what can I do ? Thankfully I cut down on photos and only took 5
rolls of film (about 130 photos), but I'm not sure when/if I can get them up. I am off to write
the report now, if I can wring out my notes!

It seems that dispite the reminders last Sunday that work was to be carried
out this Sunday.. Only 8 people turned up, with three kids. Little got done, as more are needed
to go and help out.. Not sure when the next work day is, but make an effort to get there and help the

The bad news is, its been cold, very wet and thundery today. The good news

From Andy Penninton #666 TMK, it seems that he and TMK are fed up with me slating
them and saying #2 Rick Ball is good. So Andy decided it was time to put his toughts to me. Bombers
is a nudge & spin fun race, said Andy, and Rick blasted Andy's car so badly that it was a right
off and what Rick did to Chris's car at the end was 'out of order' if anyone else had done it
then they would face a ban. Hmmm I thought. Andy added that he went to explain to Rick that
Bombers was a low contact class and was told to 'eff off' this somewhat displeased Andy. That
is what I deemed Andy to have said.. So as Big Brother has started (Vote out that scotish wierdo)
then its time to rename the young upstart Rick Ball... NASTY RICK!

Warton drivers, who are not members, this is cause I write for ORN and it looks crap when I just
put a number (e.g. Invader #767) rather than your name. I have got a list from Donkey for
TNT and would like a full set. Ta. TMK need not bother sending a list, I know you all, unless you
have more under cover drivers like Mr Yeates??
The report has been slightly tweeked, as I rewrite it for Oval Racing News and the next program.
The comments for the photos should be up tonight, I had a night off last night, sorry.
The next meeting June 2nd, will have a normal unlimited look to it in the bangers, so I will have
a selection of banners for you to print off. TMK, TNT, Invaders, Hillbillys, Steeles, Rick Ball,
Mr Grumpy, Team V are my first lot, they will be up by mid next week in a banners album. If I have
missed anyone out, let me know and I will sort one out for you :)

I mentioned in the last program, that it would be fun to have the youngters
& adults, to make banners for their favourite team.. Be it TMK, Team V, Invaders or TNT.. I
trust that you have been all hard at work and have worked on your smile for the photos :)
Even if 'your' team does not race, which is possable, you should still show support for them :)

12:05:02 CDROM price drop
I figure that the price of the CDROMs is putting you off buying them , they
take me five nights to make (scan photos, make thumbnails, write the code and do covers), but
for one meeting only I will drop the price, from £5 to £3 each (2 for £5).. Its a gamble, but
if I sell more quantiy I will make more money and I will not have to worry about taking fewer
photos in the future... If I only sell the same as normal or less, then I will have to either
stop doing them, or put the price back up, if I sell loads though, then the price will remain
the same..

I have just got the latest points table and its online right now :))
The next work day at the track is this Sunday at 10AM, there will be a BBQ and Val has asked for
as many people to go as is possable.. There is still a great deal to be done..
Oh and the company I worked for in Lancaster has gone bust, bringing down the company I work for
in Wigan... So I am not sure if I will be able to make it to Warton on the 19th May :(((
Unless anyone can offer me a lift from Wigan ...
I will also need to sell a lot more Photo CDROMS if I am going to be able to afford to get as
many photos developed as normal, that said, if I omly took about 30 photos a meeting and didn't put
them up for three months I might get back the 'Official' badge for this Warton site (Only joking
lads, I'm just a bit depressed and that cheered me up somewhat :)

I have had an e-mail from Paul Casey #151 who broke his leg at Metal Mainia, he said that his
leg is on the mend and to thank people for their concern... Again I wish Paul all the best
for the future and hope he is back racing as soon as it is safe for him to do so..

28:04:02 I was spot on with the weather and The Motts came good..
It was too exciting, after the tide had gone out we could start racing, it was
slow at first, but got better as the track dried out. The report will go up soon.. I'm going
to write it after I have had something to eat, and thaw out, I'm sure there is an hailstone
in my ear!!!

Gales and heavy showers may stop TMK from a dramatic return to form tomorrow,
that said maybe it will do them good .. A big TMK team is promised, inc. Jemmy!!! Andy will look
like a clean shaven, old, Ali G after his hols and there cars will be well smart at the start of the day. and trashed
by 3PM.. Except the Duck's that is. Will The Mob show up? Will I get run over by TMK ??
Its all panning out to be a good day at the races, tho Chris (from the other site) won't be able
to make it, even though I offered him a FREE lift to and from the track. Work, don't you hate
it?? It gets in the way too many times :((

Well most likely not, but I saw a Mob car on a truck going North on the M6.
I assume its for a big meeting at Racewall or Barrow, but lets just hope that the car survives
and they decide to bring it to Warton on Sunday to finish it off :))
Don't forget that the track repairs continue this Saturday. 10AM sharp.. Only 1 person turned
up last Saturday, which rather displeased Mick, more turned up on Sunday and some work got done.
But don't forget that with there being a meeting this Sunday, work can only be done on Saturday.
The time is running out to get the track up to spec.. So do your best and try to get there on Satuday.

I am still up to my neck in sorting out the photo CDROM. This one has all the 190 plus photos I took
from last meeting, to see the quality of the photos, i.e. 600 DPI, go to the 'Buy CDROM' link
above and click on the same icon halfway down the page then gallery and any thumbnail. The
loading time is not small, but the actual CDROM has zero loading times as the information
is off the CDROM and not the internet connection :)

It was a good show, could have done by saying Warton Stock Car Club a few more
times :) I watched it while running at the gym.. It was a little odd watching Warton while
in a strange place.... Then again everything is odd ain't it :)

A e-mail from Val READ IT:
I thought that I had finished with this when we started racing again!!
SORRY! Due to "Recommendations" by the Health and Safety, and the time scale of 56 days
to complete, which takes us to 23 May, we are having to postpone the Team Meeting until
22 September, cancelling the 12 May meeting altogether.
Work is to be done, some major, on certain parking and spectator areas, which will have to
be closed during the work. We will be working Saturdays and Sundays starting 10am
Saturday 20th April, with a break for 28 April and finishing, we hope, for 19 May. Food
and drink will be served to everyone turning up to help. Shovels and strong backs are
mainly required. Everyone will be welcome.

All photos have been scanned at 300 DPI and come with a report on the meeting (Warton
2002 season only). The average website size of photo is about 100DPI.
I will be wandering around Warton today with 10 CDROMS (trying to flog them). So come and say

Its been awfull !!! I got a piece of equipment for my PC, fitted it and it worked!
But then I realised my printer was not working.. It took me two days of fiddling and swearing to then
knock out my scanner!!!! AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!! Then I find out I HAVE to work in Bradford next week
and I havent won the lottery... Anyway I now have a printer back online and will work on the scanner soon.
The "secret" that I am working on.. is finished.. Its a kind of work in progress, more than a little like the site :)
Anyway, the weather looks like its gonna be dry tomorrow.. so come on up and see yerself on TV :)
Oh and I saw "Monsters Inc." on Friday night (with my daughter and the two youngest Penningtons). It
was great and I will deffo get the DVD...

Rather a slight site tweek, I was not getting many refferals from search engines
, I was told this was because this page has frames on it and many search engines cannot cope with frames!!
Therefore there is a new main screen, one frame, and hopefully my results from search engines will improve :)

I'm trying to organise a bit of a banger racing laugh for a stag do - 25 petrol heads.My plan is siamese and possibly train banger racing
(2 combos, 1 against the other) and I'm thinking more a field with straw bales rather than
an oval.
I'm looking for someone to supply and run the cars - don't need many and the theory is that the format will keep the speeds
/damage down.

We have just been informed, really only five minutes ago, that the meeting on 17th March will be Televised for a
series of programs called Mad About Motors being done by Granada Television.
We would appreciate more drivers actually booking in, not just turning up, so that we have a list
of names and numbers, preferably with cars being driven and a contact number in case of number duplication.
It would be better to be able to give this information to both our own commentator and to the presenter of the program,
Steve Berry.

I had an odd weekend, I stayed up and watched the F1 Grand Prix, very impressive smash
at the start and a great race, nice to see backmarkers doing so well or at least surviving :)
Yesterday at work we got bored, waiting an hour for a phone call, one of the lads decided to throw
himself to the floor and bodypop, chest down and make like a fish, my other mate and me found
this very entertaining and I asked him if he could lie on his back and jump up, like football
players and WWF "wrestlers" .. He treid and almost broke his back, causeing even more merryment and my jaw
to ache through laughing:)
Today I wiped out 8 circuits, each with untold accounts on it... Oh and at the same time almost electricuted
myself!!!! Ooooops:(
I am going to rejig this opening page to a frame free welcome page which will then connect to this
page .. As I am still getting few hits from Search Engines and have been told its because they don't
like framed sites... Doh!

alarm.... But it will be deffo by Friday... Note that the outbreak is nowhere near Warton, but

27:02:02 What the hell was that about ??
..as in yesterdays weather ??? I was driving home, on the M6 at 70(ish), thinking,
I will take a walk to the gym tonight, I looked to the right and thought, my word that cloud looks
low... Seconds later there was a huge bolt of lightning and hailstones the size of, ERM hailstones
covered the motorway, and it went dark...
Needless to say I drove to the gym, just in case, and, feeling like a kid on their first day at Big school,
I got changed, went to the bikes, my favourite item of equipment, despite I canot ride a real bike, or spell,
I sat down and started peddleing, nothing happened, the display remained blank. I pushed the start
button, nothing, I read the instructions, hey I'm a bloke, I don't need to read instructions..
"Peddle then press start" it said.. It took me ten minutes to figure it out.. I later went back, thinking
I knew how to work it and it took another ten minutes!!! AARRGGHHH !!! I also had a sauna and steaming,
I must remember, however, to not have a freezing shower before I use the changingroom showers... If you
get my drift :)
Also Foot & Mouth may have reared its ugly head again, I will give more F&M updates as I get them :(

I was doing overtime today at work, as were some road diggers, one guy was in the JCB and, as we walked
towards them, he went through a mains electric cable.. I have never seen a spark as big as that one before, or seen
aged road workers run as fast as his mates did.. It took 3 hours to get power back on in the area, I was
just pleased we use battery backup on our equipment :)

I have had another odd few days.
1: We were going to a Policestation, to work on their telephone system, I was following my mate and we
got to an area we knew, I thought we would turn left at some lights and left again, but no, we went on a
guided tour of the city, I only followed him as I thought we were going to a different station.. Did I mention that
its one we were both at only a few weeks before.
2: I was travelling home, alone, on the M62 and hit roadworks.. The car behind me pulled out almost causing
an accident, then he dived in front of me!! all in the space of about 200yards.. He went from lane 1 to
lane 3, which went onto the other side of the motorway. He then had to anchor on as I drove past..
A woman had parked her Fiesta in his lane.. I bet he would have been there for ages.. I had to laff..
3: My SKY decides to only show programmes on the blue bar, but not the channel, and changed channel for
no reason
Its all too odd :)

Yup it was a great day, Billy no mates, me, drove 206 miles to Kings Lynn and had
a fantastic day at the races. I would like to congratulate the organisers for the very quick clear up after each Heat.
Bear in mind that each heat was like a DD with over 40 cars at the start.... My thoughts go out to "Egg" who
had a bad hit from the rear, I heard it but didn't see it. Egg had to be cut free from the wreckage and taken
away on a hardboard..
I left my house at 7:30 this morning and got back before 10:30 tonight... Not bad considering the
distance involved :)

I had to laugh yesterday when my mate parked his van in a disabled space in Blackpool, "You'll get
a ticket" I told him. "I never get tickets" he said, this being one of the lads who got two tickets
on the same day !! Anyway, we were in the Town Hall ten minutes and he left. I later asked if he
had got a ticket, "yup" he moaned "for £30 !!" I gleefully told him that worked out at £3 per minute :) Yer Gotta Laff :)

great action movie, tho the acting is very Crossroads :)
I bought 20 videos (blank) from Homebase, they had an offer on, buy 1 pack of five videos and get one free (B.O.G.O.F.F) I got to
the checkout and their tills were not updated, it took 5 voids to get it sorted, or rather I told them how to do it on their till.
At least those ten years I spent in retail paid off :))
I also bought a new PS2 game... "Top Gear DD" give me a few days and I will do a reveiw :)

Tis the day before the Civil War 3 ... and tho I am not getting on the infeild, I can't wait :)
A few folk have said that they are not going as there are no Robins on the bill.. Twonks!! Metros are as much fun,
mainly when the rear axle falls off and the Metro whizzes around with sparks a flying..
I hope to be near the corner directly below the main entrance to the circuit.(near Matt Bulls' shop). so come and say hello :)

07:01:02 What an odd few days!!
I swear all this is true!! My daughter returned from her travels and we had Christmas Lunch, after she had opened her pressies,
on 6th Jan!! When she went to bed I took down the tree and trimmings!!
But today was odder.. At work my mate and I went to reclaim some equipment from an office, it took us a while to enter the
building, but when we got to the floor we found the doors locked and it all in darkness. I rang up a number
and a bloke apeared from one of the two lifts, he said that he would have to go and check if we could
get back our equipment as the company had gone into liquidation. We waited a while and he returned.
He didn't have a key, but even if he did he wouldn't let us in the office without a letter
from the liquidators saying we could get OUR stuff out! He then turned out the light on the landing
and got back in the lift, my mate and I followed him, I asked for a number to contact this bloke, he said he couldn't give me one,
so I asked how we got back in the building. Sneak in like you did today he said! (very helpfull)
I then asked where his office was, on the second floor he said... hmmmm I thought. Then the
weirdist bit, "have you a toilet I could use ? " asked my mate, "No they are all locked" was his reply.
With that this guy got out the lift and walked off.. This was in a 7 story building in the heart of
a big city... The bad news is I may have to deal with this prat again soon, with my letter :)
Oh and I will not be able to get on the infeild at the Civil War 3, due to there being too many photographers last year. Each
team can choose three photographers each and thats it! Oh well I got some good photos from outside at the
first CW... But I got better at the second :(

Ok its gonna be big with about 80 bangers per team (Thats 160 in total Emma!!).. Thats a good day out.

01:01:02 Happy New Year PART 2
I wrote the earlier entry a few days ago, so what did I do on the big night ? Well I had Andy Pennington round, with his clan,
where I had a sip of his liquid. It was a Larger Shandy that I mistook for my Boddies draught!! Not nice :( they had to leave at 11PM, due
to family accident, and I wondered round to a freinds house with a very drunk woman, it was more than a bit slippy, she was laughing and screaming all the
way there, and back!
Today I cooked a turkey tea for 12 people, I can't wait til tomorrow! I'm back at work.
