Hello & welcome to the PAUL WOODS on TOUR page # 514 Paul Woods is doing plenty of travelling
and this is a page where we keep up with what he has been up too.
3rd May 2004 (sheffield) Our well travelled Woodsy got prepped and off over the Pennines to show
em how its done.

24th April 2004... Paul is off again, this time to the World Cup at Cowdie Race Wall....
Here we see the mans car before the trip 'up North'

Sadly it werent Pauls day, after doing well in heat one, he ended up in a blockage and was rear
ended... Paul was a filling in a sibbling butty!. The Silver engine was f.. ERM Knackered, as
was the gearbox, so the lads changed both these items in 25 mins, and Paul went out again. Not
for long though, his car snapped the driveshaft on way to start grid. All agreed though, that
it had been worth the trip and a 22 hours round trip at that. Still there is always neext year.

7th October 03. Our reporter from over the water, Ireland, has sent a pic & mini report on
Paul Woods in Northern Ireland. Here is the FULL report:
Just to add to your pics of Paul dies Belgium, heres 1 of him racing at Nutts Corner in
Northern Ireland yesterday,he won race 2!!
So thanks for that Ed, the Cheque is in the post, he's called Ivan.

3rd July 03. Second hand info here & photos from after the event at Pauls yard. It seems Paul was
wrecked in heat one, but pulled out the rear of the car to go on and WIN the Final. All this
went on at either Barford or Millom?? Anyway here are said pictures.

Paul Woods does Belgium
Yup Invader #514 Paul Woods spent the weekend of 7th/8th June 2003 in Belgium. Despite breaking
his foot a few weeks back... So off the Invaders went, not only in two vans, but on two ferries!
Its all so rock & roll, on the way to the track in Belgium, our heroes got a tad lost. They were either in
France or Belgium, well it all looks the same don't it, and stopped at some lights. They heard the
na na of a cop car and waited for it too pass, but another car did not and the cop car & this other
car had a nice smash, right in front of our Scouse friends.. Anyway, off they went and eventually
found said track (Warneton) and got ready to race.
The track is huge, 'bigger than Hedno' and has banked corners, therefore third & even forth gear were
really needed. Paul said his rear end went a bit loose when he saw some of the other tin that
was there, not that the high speed, broken foot and large tin put him off. He went out to race in
heat one, the WORLD Final, 'as it was foreign it felt like a real World meeting'. Paul did well
and got a few laps in, in fact he was one of the last 6 left in race and could hear the commentator
'talking foreign then saying Paul Woods'. Paul then got span out and though 'f##k it'. seeing
a Dutch car going quite slow Paul aimed for him and both cars lifted off the ground.. race over for
both of them, but very good fun.
The next race and a kind of faluse start, red flags waved, but Mr Dutch man from previous race,
picked Paul up, drove him through the two lines of cars and mullered our hapless chap into a wall.
Paul got out & was OK. Thinking his car was not that bad & could be pulled out for next race..
That was until a Yank Tank just drove flat out into the empty car.. Racing over..
Paul would like to thank Carlos for the loan of a few bits for the car, inc. a very impressive
left hand Steam Tank and Paul added that they helped straighten a very bent Pink Jag (insert
your own joke) belonging to another team, much to the amazement of the Jag owner, beers around
afterwards and new friends made, awww it makes you wanna cry
That was that really, Paul said it was a great meeting and intends to go back as soon as he can.
Shame he did not win the World Championship race, we could have had two World Champion Banger
drivers racing regularly at Warton :)
Below are some photos of Paul's car (not all there yet & some robbed from other websites! Still folks
rob off me enough don't they :)
Hold pointer over photo for comments.

More shocking Woodsy news!!! Paul has gotten a boat. I'm not sure why, but it could be
he's taking up boat racing, cause there will be plenty of water to put the fires out!
Or is it to take his car over to Belgium next time???
Have a look and make up your own mind :)
