This is the biggest battle between the Narky North and Softy Southerners. Its been held at
Hednesford for the last four years, but the Softies won the 2004 War, for the first time, and its going to be
held at Arena Essex in 2005. There will be drivers lists and loads of info in the build up
to the battle, as well as shed loads of photos of the actual event. Its going to be huge...
Don't miss out.
Each Army is divided into three batallions:
The Light Brigade
Metros, the little cars hit hard, bend well and tend to roll in the skirmishes... (update for 6th war Now any under 1400cc car)
The Infantry
Mid sized cars, with engines under 1500cc...(update for 6th war Now any under 1600cc car)
The Tanks
The BIG cars, Jags, Grannies and loads of rare stuff, usually a few Yanks and hearses thrown into
the mix too. The hits can be felt in Paris, no prisoners...
The best thing is that after each race, the teams have to use any remaining cars still going
to push or pull the wrecked cars into a 'safe area'. Any cars NOT in the safe area cost that
team points, which are deducted from the total score, it has been known for The South to
be in minus figures after the first few heats. The DDs are high point scorers too, so its
all there to win, or loose.
